Story
Rocky is a whole ten pounds of nothing but sweetness. He loves to play and can be quite entertaining with his antics, but also loves a good lap to snuggle on. He did spend this first year of his life in a home and is well socialized. He really would prefer though to never have to change family again, so we are looking for one who will love this little nugget for the rest of his life. Yours? Our Furry Friendz are available for adoption through a screening process which includes but is not limited to: a completed application, 3 referrals, a home visit, and a vet referral prior to their furever home placement. The dogs are Spayed/Neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and on heart worm/flea preventive. If you're interested in adopting, let's begin the Adoption process by clicking the link below. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FURF/Dog

Story
Franklin is a Dachshund/Terrier mix that’s about 3 years old and weighs 24lbs. He was found living on the streets as a stray and is learning quickly how great it is to live in a house! Franklin is good with other dogs, but he`s a bit wary of humans at first. He warms up to women right away, but takes his time getting to know men. Once he trusts you though, you`ve got a friend for life. Franklin will follow you anywhere and everywhere!Franklin is a very loving boy and is working hard on all his training so that he can be the best dog he can be. His biggest goals right now are to finish his potty training (he`s so close!) and to learn to stay calm and relaxed in his kennel. He’s full of life and a little silly, so after working on his training he loves playing, belly rubs, and snuggles.Franklin had a rough start to life but that hasn’t stopped him from being a wonderful, faithful companion. To help him continue living the good life in a loving home, please apply to adopt him today at www.pawsinthecity.org

Story
Meet Tia & Toby â&#194&#128&#194&#147 the ultimate snuggle duo! Tia and Toby are sweet siblings looking for a forever home together after being surrendered through no fault of their own. They previously lived with kids and a yard, and theyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve kept their gentle, couch-loving personalities in foster care. These two are low-energy, affectionate, and happiest when snuggled under blankets or lounging next to their people. Theyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re both mostly potty trained, crate trained, and sleep peacefully together at night. Toby is still working on marking, but heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s made great progress since his neuter. A belly band indoors and crating when unsupervised has helped a lot. They get along well with other dogs and cats, though they needed a little time to warm up to more energetic pups. They also really enjoy kids and are comfortable around them. Leash walks are still new territory for Tia and Toby, but with time and patience, theyâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll get the hang of it. They may bark a bit when they hear other dogs, but they quiet down quickly when redirected. Tia has a habit of sitting upright on the couch like a little person, which is just as adorable as it sounds. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a mellow, cuddly pair to keep you company on the couch, Tia and Toby might be the perfect match. Tia and Toby are bonded and have lived together for 7-8 years, and need to be adopted together as $25 off adoption for each fee when adopted together ($50 off total) All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. You can view all adoptable pets and fill out an adoption application online on our website at http://dallaspetsalive.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/ .
