Franklin is a Dachshund/Terrier mix that’s about 3 years old and weighs 24lbs. He was found living on the streets as a stray and is learning quickly how great it is to live in a house! Franklin is good with other dogs, but he`s a bit wary of humans at first. He warms up to women right away, but takes his time getting to know men. Once he trusts you though, you`ve got a friend for life. Franklin will follow you anywhere and everywhere!Franklin is a very loving boy and is working hard on all his training so that he can be the best dog he can be. His biggest goals right now are to finish his potty training (he`s so close!) and to learn to stay calm and relaxed in his kennel. He’s full of life and a little silly, so after working on his training he loves playing, belly rubs, and snuggles.Franklin had a rough start to life but that hasn’t stopped him from being a wonderful, faithful companion. 🐾 Coco— approximately 4 years old We took him in from his previous owner, who had several dogs. We aren’t completely sure of his breed. When he first came to us, he was very skittish, but he has made a lot of progress and is now much more comfortable around people. He is very sweet and people-friendly, but he still needs someone who will be gentle, patient, and willing to let him warm up at his own pace. He is currently not neutered, so we would prefer a home without other intact male dogs.

These boys are father (Louis, 5) and son (JJ, 3). They have a very close bond with each other. These boys are the absolute sweetest dogs you could ever imagine. Their original owner fell into the grips of addiction and was no longer able to care for them properly. She ended up homeless and on the streets with them and things got to a point where she could not feed them or care for them properly. Their last owner surrendered them to me and with the gracious help of a boarding facility, they have been vaccinated, well fed, and cared for ever since. Although being in a boarding facility is an improvement from their last situation, they deserve a loving home. They are potty trained, leash trained, fun to play with, they love to cuddle, and they desperately want to be somebody’s family members. Although they have been through hard times, you wouldn’t know it based on their personalities. They are outstandingly well behaved and aim to please. These boys are amazing! I will pay to neuter both

Luna was given to me by a friend who was going through a tough time and could no longer care for her. She is thought to be about 10 years old. We are seeking a home where she can be indoors but have a yard to run and play in, a house without other pets so she can be the center of attention, and someone who has energy to play with her and show her lots of love. She is such a loyal, loving, playful dog who needs lots of attention and love. She loves lounging on and underneath blankets and will always cuddle. She is very athletic, coordinated, and enthusiastic.

While we’re not sure what she’s mixed with, whatever it is gave her a slightly bigger build than a typical dachshund—she weighs about 28 pounds and is the perfect small-to-medium size. Pinky is an easygoing, low-key girl who is just as happy lounging on a dog bed as she is soaking up the sun outside. She has a calm, content personality and doesn’t require constant activity to be satisfied. She does well with dogs of all sizes and would fit nicely into a home with other respectful canine companions. She is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is generally very well-mannered. Pinky is fearful of small children, so she will need a home without young kids where she can feel safe and comfortable.
