Story
Deenie was born August 2020. She was the runt out of the 4 puppies my dachshund had. She is the only one we kept and has been with her mama ever since. She loves attention and could cuddle for hours. She does have a little bit of separation anxiety and doesn’t like to be alone. She has a lot of energy and can run circles I’m the yard.

Story
Gallagher joined Angie's Friends back in December when Angie paid $20 for him. The person who sold him to Angie said he found him on the street and planned to keep him, but then he kept him in a small, barren kennel outside - and he was only a baby! So, Angie offered the guy $20 and started Gallagher's journey to a new family. Gallagher is vaccinated and crate trained and an all around gentle, easy-going, fun, friendly, playful guy. Gallagher is a total catch on his own, but he would LOVE to be adopted with his buddy, Rio. Gallagher is best suited for a home with a yard. April 3, 2025, 9:48 pm

Story
Franklin is a Dachshund/Terrier mix that’s about 3 years old and weighs 24lbs. He was found living on the streets as a stray and is learning quickly how great it is to live in a house! Franklin is good with other dogs, but he`s a bit wary of humans at first. He warms up to women right away, but takes his time getting to know men. Once he trusts you though, you`ve got a friend for life. Franklin will follow you anywhere and everywhere!Franklin is a very loving boy and is working hard on all his training so that he can be the best dog he can be. His biggest goals right now are to finish his potty training (he`s so close!) and to learn to stay calm and relaxed in his kennel. He’s full of life and a little silly, so after working on his training he loves playing, belly rubs, and snuggles.Franklin had a rough start to life but that hasn’t stopped him from being a wonderful, faithful companion. To help him continue living the good life in a loving home, please apply to adopt him today at www.pawsinthecity.org

Story
Meet James Howlett, also known as Howie, a charming male dog with lots of love to give. He's great with small dogs and kids, but might chase cats during play. This sweet pup is not just cute but also comes with impressive credentials-he's crate-trained and has mastered the art of potty training. He enjoys both playtime and quiet moments. Most of all, he craves companionship and loves to be around people. His favorite treats are Purina Beggin' strips, and he enjoys toys that keep him busy. Howie would thrive in a home where someone is around often and has space to stretch his legs and run free. With his loving nature, Howie is ready to make someone's life infinitely brighter.
