Toby is rocking the potty training, is crate trained, and sleeps all night. He loves to play with his resident dogs and snuggle with his foster people. ABOUT ME: Hi, I'm Blizzard! I am a sweet, gentle girl looking for my forever home! I came into the shelter with my other 85 brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, but now I'm just looking to downsize. I'm still unsure around new people, but I'll warm up with treats!DREAM HOME: I've come a long way with my leash walking, but I still tend to get overwhelmed. I would love a home with a securely fenced yard, but I can also try a low-traffic apartment. On the plus-side, I'm potty-pad trained, so you'll have that as a back up!KIDS: You can bring any kids under 12 to meet me, but I would definitely prefer a home with older teens and adults only. DOGS: I love other dogs, especially ones the same size as me! In fact if you want me to warm up to my new digs faster, I would do best with another dog in my home! Franklin is a Dachshund/Terrier mix that's about 3 years old and weighs 24lbs. He was found living on the streets as a stray and is learning quickly how great it is to live in a house! Franklin is good with other dogs, but he's a bit wary of humans at first. He warms up to women right away, but takes his time getting to know men. Once he trusts you though, you've got a friend for life. Franklin will follow you anywhere and everywhere!Franklin is a very loving boy and is working hard on all his training so that he can be the best dog he can be. His biggest goals right now are to finish his potty training (he's so close!) and to learn to stay calm and relaxed in his kennel. He's full of life and a little silly, so after working on his training he loves playing, belly rubs, and snuggles.Franklin had a rough start to life but that hasn't stopped him from being a wonderful, faithful companion. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Buddy is a sweet, well-mannered senior. He learns house training quickly, gets along with most dogs, and is very laid back. Buddy leash walks well, is current on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative and on preventative. Buddy just had a dental and had some extractions, but his mouth is in good shape for his age. He has that long-eared hound look, the sparkle in the eye that goes with an alert Dachshund, and a love for gentle, caring humans. He enjoys sharing people beds, time with his people around him, and life in general. Buddy has allergies (mostly skin) so he takes Cytopoint shots as needed and supplements with small daily oral doses of benedryl. Buddy is a very nice dog, and really deserves a wonderful furever home where he can comfortably enjoy his loving family through his twilight years. Trevor is a very happy boy who loves to play with toys and other dogs. He has never met a stranger and is very eager to please. He is crate trained and doing well with his potty training.
