Story
Meet Clark! Clark is a 5 year old, chunky dachshund mix. He is very energetic and loves to play. He is good with other dogs (big and small) but is very curious about cats and will chase them. He prefers to be fed alone. He is potty and crate trained. His foster mama calls him “Clarky Barky” because he likes to bark at the intruders (Amazon delivery drivers). He does well on a leash but prefers roaming free in the backyard. Interested in meeting Clark? Fill out an application! Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application. Adoption donation of $295 includes spay, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Dallas/Ft. Worth AreaApplications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  April 22, 2024, 1:58 pm

Story
Meet Hercules!Hercules is a wonderful 5 year old dachshund with a zest for life! Hercules is not only neutered and has completed heartworm treatment, but he is a pro at housetraining and crate training. With a big personality to match his big heart, Hercules is always ready for an adventure. However, he is a bit of an escape artist and climber and would do best in a home with a stay at home parent to keep him company and give him the attention he craves. He gets along very well with his two foster sisters, but can be a bit dog selective. He is super reliable inside in terms of housetraining if let out every 2-3 hours, and will be most successful in a home that has a secure backyard. If you are looking for loyal companion who will keep you on your toes, Hercules is the one for you!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Quinnt! Quinnt is a precious soul, overflowing with sweetness and affection. Initially shy, he may seek refuge under the bed, likely a result of being confined to a crate for much of his life. The great outdoors is a new and unfamiliar territory for him, as grass is a novelty he's yet to fully understand. However, he's been diligently using the potty pads provided, showing a willingness to learn and adapt.Despite his past, Quinnt has a gentle spirit and gets along famously with his fosters resident dog. Not one to disturb the peace, he's remarkably quiet and has a tranquil presence. At just 2 years old, Quinnt's journey to a happy life started when he was surrendered by a breeder. Upon his arrival at the rescue, a heart-wrenching discovery was made-zip ties had been used on his legs for identification, a practice no longer part of his new, loving life.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
