Daisy and Donut are 2 yrs old. The perfect age as they are all grown out of the puppy stages. They are both housebroken and just the sweetest lovable dogs. They are current on all vaccinations and preventatives and have been spayed and neutered. Daisy is a little more high energy but not excessive. She is wonderful especially if she has a chewy bone or toy. Not destructive, she just likes something to chew on. Donut is lower energy but still loves to chase a ball and play with his sibling. They both know sit and will shake when asked as well. Leash and kennel trained and will sleep in their kennel 8-9 hours with no problems. They are great dogs and their family does not want to give them up but they have had a coupled unexpected deaths in the family and unforeseen circumstances that make it unfair for these two as far as time and space. Their current family would love for them to go together and the adoption fees can be adjusted accordingly if we can find a spot together for them both. About Me: Name: Neville Breed (or best guess): Dachshund (or mix) Approximate Age: 3 yr Gender: M Approximate Weight: 7 lb Adoption Fee: $450 Requirements: Ability to provide safe place for disabled dog Why In Rescue: stray/lost dog Profile:  Neville came to us from a local animal control.  He doesn't have total control over his rear legs, but is able to get around.  He is able to urinate/defecate on his own so doesn't need anyone to express him.  He can get around, but will need ramps to get up on any furniture/stairs (or to be lifted up and down).  We have had xrays done and have tried steroids to see if he would get any better.  His condition is about the same, so we are thinking this is an older injury that has resulted in his lack of control of his rear legs.  Despite this, he is a happy, happy dog, and loves attention.  He may need a little time to warm up to men, but we haven't had many men meet him yet. Because of the potential for future back injuries, his new home must be safe for him (ramps, no large dogs or dogs that will play rough with him, careful handling by children, etc).  He doesn't need any treatment at this time, just a loving family who will help him out with his disability.  If interested in Neville, please fill out the application at www.bichonrescues.com We do put the needs of the dog's first, so it is nothing personal if we determine a particular dog isn't suitable for your specific home and living situation. We got Finn at MADACC as a rescue who was underweight and approximately 2 years old. He got along with our elderly dog Raven, so we adopted him. Raven and Finn took the three weeks to get used to each other, treats were the main point of contention but outside of that they found a wonderful friendship and would play wrestle together. As they were bonding we had gotten pregnant and had our baby boy. They were both tentative but learning how to handle this new friend. Raven Unfortunately got end stage renal disease and passed suddenly on us. Finn was doing okay but continued to be skittish. He does not want to be pet by our son we have attempted with training, treats, medication, but he still shows skittishness and nipping if our son tries to pet. We feel at this point for Finns own sake he should be in an environment he's not so anxious. Finn is protective of his home and takes time to warm up to guests.

Bounty is a 2yr is ridicuously cute & sweet Dachshund mix. He is good with kids, most likely would be fine with cats & gets along with other dogs. He is crate trained & doing well with potty training. He loves the outdoors & feels most at home running around outside romping around in the grass. Queso! This 2 year old is looking for his forever home. Queso considers himself the man of the house. With little information of this poor guys back ground, its hard to say what's caused his distrust of men. As a result, we know there is one lucky lady out there who is going to soak up all of Queso's affection.
