This little boy is part of a trio of homeless puppies that were found by kind people. He’s a lucky boy, he’s eager for his big journey to WI! Adoption Fee: $550.00  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . Story
Meet Ruxin! *Ruxin and Marco are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together. Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ruxin! I'm just over 17 pounds and a handsome, scruffy gentleman! I love to give kisses and play catch, but I don't quite get the concept of putting the ball down so you can throw it again. I also really love ripping stuffies apart! My favorite color is blue, and my foster mom always makes sure I have my blue sweater on if it's cold outside. Marco is my little bro, and we do EVERYTHING together! We've been together for all of our lives. We were born in Dec 2011, so that's a long time. We enjoy when the foster neighbor kids come over to visit, but we get a little scared about fast movements, so if there are kids in our forever home it would be best if they were 5 and up. We love going on walks together, even though we bark at dogs on our walks. Bigger dogs scare us a bit, but we do well with our foster cat sibling, who is about our size. We never had a fenced in yard in our old home, so we play well indoors, but boy oh boy, let me just say that Marco and I are loving chasing balls in out fenced in yard at our foster home! I never knew there could be something so joyous in this world! We are quite energetic yet and quite a bit of life and excitement to our forever family! When we are home alone, we can free roam the house, and when it's bedtime, we will sleep in a large crate together, without any fussing, but we'd also love to sleep in the big bed with the humans. Basically, we just need some humans to love us, give us some food, exercise us, and make sure we are taken care of. Maybe you are the humans for us! Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Learn more about Albert's Dog Lounge, our mission, and adoption policies by visiting Albertsdoglounge.org. Begin your application process by copying this link into your web browser: https://www.albertsdoglounge.org/apply WI Dept. Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.

Story
Meet Marco! *Marco and Ruxin are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together. Hello everyone, my name is Marco! I'm just over 16 pounds and one of the best-looking guys you'll ever meet! My brother Ruxin is the other best looking guy. We're almost like twins! I'm not much of a kisser, and you'll be lucky to get one kiss at a time from me. Otherwise I just lick the air near you. I can play catch with the best of them, with raquetballs only. I could care less about any other balls, and I don't really show interest in any stuffies. My favorite color is red, and my foster mom has a red sweater she puts on me to keep me warm! I'm a little more cautious than my brother, but I will still love my new people just the same once we get to know each other. Ruxin is my bigger (not by much) bro, and we do EVERYTHING together! We've been together for all of our lives. We were born in Dec 2011, so that's a long time. We enjoy when the foster neighbor kids come over to visit, but we get a little scared about fast movements, so if there are kids in our forever home it would be best if they were 5 and up. Story
Meet Belle! The name is Belle, or Belle of the ball! I am a 10 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. I weigh about 15lbs, though I should be closer to 13lbs, but I used to weigh 22lbs! So it’s all how you look at it. I was with my owner since I was a little puppy, but due to their failing health I landed myself with Albert’s Dog Lounge. Since I’ve always known a loving life, I love love love people! I enjoy meeting new ones, but most of all I just want to be close to my humans, no matter where they are. I like to play fetch with my humans too! I am such a good little girl. I do have some bad knees, but I’m happy to go on a nice stroll around the block. Sometimes, I will go up and down steps, but sometimes I want you to carry me. I have no problem jumping on the couch to lay right by you though! I don’t mind other dogs or cats. Sometimes, I may tell another dog to not to get to close to me and my human, but I’m all talk. Unfortunately, I do have some bladder issues. When I arrived to Wisconsin, I had a very bad UTI that took over a month to get over! I also had a bladder stone…the size of my bladder. I was put on food special for dogs with bladder stones. I’m happy to report my bladder stone is significantly smaller and so far it looks like I won’t need surgery to remove it! I will need to stay on this type of food for the rest of my life to make sure the stone goes away completely and that no new ones form. Because I had these bladder issues, it has made me unable to hold my urine appropriately, especially when I’m sleeping. I did start a medication that will hopefully help me strengthen my bladder muscles to stop the leaking. I will wear a diaper if you need me to (so I can sleep in bed with you) or I would do just fine sleeping on a dog bed that’s washable or that has a waterproof cover on it. Now you know the good, bad and ugly about me, and I hope you still love me just the way I am! I'm looking for my forever family who is going to love and care for me just the way that I do them. I had it once, and I know I deserve it again! *Belle is being fostered in the Green Bay area. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.
