He is sweet and so handsome! He does well with other dogs and older kids. He is also housebroken and crate trained! He is a wonderful companion, he can’t wait to make himself cozy in your home!   Adoption Fee: $750We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 19, 2026, 9:38 am

Story
Meet Ronnie, the pint-sized prince of naps, snuggles, and occasional zoomies! This little guy may be small, but he’s got a big heart and an even bigger love for being pampered. Ronnie enjoys short bursts of puppy playtime and zooming around the house, but he’s just as happy curling up for a long nap afterward. He gets chilly easily and is always on the lookout for a warm lap, cozy blanket, or cuddle buddy to help keep him toasty. Ronnie has never met a stranger and believes everyone is a potential new best friend. Like any puppy, he’s still learning the ropes and is working on potty training and crate training. He’s expected to be around 20–25 pounds full grown, making him the perfect compact companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate little guy who loves attention, enjoys the simple things in life, and will happily snuggle the day away with you, Ronnie may be your perfect match! This animal is fostered in: Burlington, WIApplicant must be willing to commute to this area for a meet and greet.   All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2749202##

Story
So my name is Betty! I am a beautiful long hair 6 year old Dachshund. My coat is rich redish brown with tan markings. I have big soulful eyes and short little legs. My favorite thing is to snuggle on a lap. I recently arrived in foster care with Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue. I have already showed what a sweetheart I am. Betty is not fully housetrained, but she is catching on quick. She is also learning what that leash thing is and how it works. Betty gets along with the other dogs in the foster home and even the cats. My foster mom, Maggie thinks a home with people teenage and up would be best. If you are interesting in adopting Betty please put an application in at tinypawssmalldogrescue.org.

Story
About Me: Name: Willow Ava Breed (or best guess): Terrier mix Approximate Age: 3 yr Gender: Female Approximate Weight: 13 lb Adoption Fee: $495 Requirements: Loving Family, must be only pet Why In Rescue: stray/lost dog Profile:  Willow Ava was found as a stray/lost dog in Milwaukee County and no one came for her so she is looking for a new family.  We don't have a history or background on her and breed/age are our best guesses.  Willow is a sweet dog just waiting for a home of her own.  Willow was adopted and returned because she didn't do well with the family's cat or dogs outside the home.  Because of this Willow needs to live in a single family home, not an apartment where she will be meeting other dogs on a regular basis. We do put the needs of the dog's first, so it is nothing personal if we determine a particular dog isn't suitable for your specific home and living situation. If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS March 11, 2026, 11:03 pm
