My scruffy coat of white and cream, with an adorable underbite makes me super cute but, I am also  super social.  I love just being with you and who ever you hang with.   Also I am very outgoing and would make a fun agility prospect.   I sleep through the night in my kennel with my siblings but would love a family of my own, and doing great on potty training. Adoption Fee: $550.00  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . Description: This is Mina, fresh off the Texas transport. She is a delight to foster, as she loves to cuddle, she stays dry in her crate and she sleeps through the night. She loves to play with people or other dogs,  she is inquisitive, brave and fairly intelligent . Her favorite past times are napping in our laps, sitting on our patio, and chasing our dog through the grass. Potty training is progressing, and it seems she already knew to come running for a treat as soon as she did her business outside.    Although described as a 'terrier,' she definitely has the long body, short legs and fun temperament of a Dachshund.   Adoption Fee: $550.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. Meet Ruxin! *Ruxin and Marco are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together. Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ruxin! I'm just over 17 pounds and a handsome, scruffy gentleman! I love to give kisses and play catch, but I don't quite get the concept of putting the ball down so you can throw it again. I also really love ripping stuffies apart! My favorite color is blue, and my foster mom always makes sure I have my blue sweater on if it's cold outside. Marco is my little bro, and we do EVERYTHING together! We've been together for all of our lives. We were born in Dec 2011, so that's a long time. We enjoy when the foster neighbor kids come over to visit, but we get a little scared about fast movements, so if there are kids in our forever home it would be best if they were 5 and up. We love going on walks together, even though we bark at dogs on our walks. Bigger dogs scare us a bit, but we do well with our foster cat sibling, who is about our size. We never had a fenced in yard in our old home, so we play well indoors, but boy oh boy, let me just say that Marco and I are loving chasing balls in out fenced in yard at our foster home! I never knew there could be something so joyous in this world! We are quite energetic yet and quite a bit of life and excitement to our forever family! When we are home alone, we can free roam the house, and when it's bedtime, we will sleep in a large crate together, without any fussing, but we'd also love to sleep in the big bed with the humans. Basically, we just need some humans to love us, give us some food, exercise us, and make sure we are taken care of. Maybe you are the humans for us! Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Learn more about Albert's Dog Lounge, our mission, and adoption policies by visiting Albertsdoglounge.org. Begin your application process by copying this link into your web browser: https://www.albertsdoglounge.org/apply WI Dept. Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.

Story
Meet Marco! *Marco and Ruxin are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together. Hello everyone, my name is Marco! I'm just over 16 pounds and one of the best-looking guys you'll ever meet! My brother Ruxin is the other best looking guy. We're almost like twins! I'm not much of a kisser, and you'll be lucky to get one kiss at a time from me. Otherwise I just lick the air near you. I can play catch with the best of them, with raquetballs only. I could care less about any other balls, and I don't really show interest in any stuffies. My favorite color is red, and my foster mom has a red sweater she puts on me to keep me warm! I'm a little more cautious than my brother, but I will still love my new people just the same once we get to know each other. Ruxin is my bigger (not by much) bro, and we do EVERYTHING together! We've been together for all of our lives. We were born in Dec 2011, so that's a long time. We enjoy when the foster neighbor kids come over to visit, but we get a little scared about fast movements, so if there are kids in our forever home it would be best if they were 5 and up. Story
*****Requirements****** No apartments* No children* No other petsMeet Carlos, a 7 lb Chihuahua that's cute as can be! His absolute favorite thing in the world is blankets and you can catch him snuggled into a blanket even during warmer weather. Carlos was bounced around homes before finding his way to JR's and it takes him longer than usual to get comfortable as a result. When he first arrived at his foster home, he was super nervous and preferred to spend time alone. Now that he's comfortable in his foster home, his playful side has emerged and he's become snuggly on occasion. He loves playing with toys, both independently and with foster mom. Although Carlos is currently living with other dogs, he's really looking for a forever home where he can be your one and only pet. He's very protective of foster mom and tries his best to make sure the other dogs aren't bothering her. In typical Chihuahua fashion, he isn't afraid to give bigger dogs a piece of his mind. Kids make him nervous, so he's looking for a child-free home as well. Carlos is low energy and spends most of his day snuggled up in a blanket on the couch or a bed. He's very independent and is ok spending the day in a different room than foster mom. He does like to snuggle for short bouts at his discretion when the household is relaxing in the evening. He screams like a fire alarm when he's startled or unhappy, so apartment living is not a good fit for him. Carlos is potty trained but not a fan of the cold so needs coaxing to potty outside during winter. He does well in his crate as long as he has a comfy blanket to snuggle into. Overall, Carlos is a typical Chihuaha personality (though maybe less snuggly than normal) that makes foster mom laugh every day with his antics and provides a lot of cute photo opportunities with his blanket shenanigans. You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about Carlos on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet him today!! Adoption fee: $525 All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Story
I'm Bow and I'm such a cute little lady. Im a very shy girl as I came from a breeder and I'm not sure what being a dog is all about yet. My foster parents are nice but I'm still pretty scared of them. I am crate trained but not potty trained. I live with a big dog who makes me feel more comfortable but we don't really play together. I am going to need another dog friend in my new home to help me learn. I'm not sure what toys are yet and I'm a bit scared of going outside so I need to get used to walks. I love food! That will help me warm up to you. My ideal home will be quiet, older kids might be ok, and I really need another dog maybe my size to help me learn. It will take time and patience for me to grow but I'm worth it!You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet me today!! Coco is the absolute sweetest little peanut you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, look no further - you’ve found him! This six year old is quite the friendly little chap. He gets along with other dogs, is totally fine with cats, and good with people of all ages. He loves to go for walks and spends most of his day napping, burrowed under a pile of blankets. He is a great dog who will fit in with any family - all 7lbs of him. He is a quiet little man that would do well in a single family home, apartment or condo.
