Story
Hi my name is Willow and I'm a red Doxie (subtle tan spackle) girl looking for my fur-ever home. I've been with my fosters for just over 2 weeks and I am learning to love this new life of mine. After years of living in a puppy mill, and having multiple litters of puppies, I am ready to retire and start my next adventure. In this short amount of time I have learned I love being pet, snuggled, cuddled and napping with my humans! I am doing great with my potty training and do very well with a consistent schedule. My foster mom is teaching me how to walk on a leash. Sometimes I like to go for walks, and sometimes I want to relax and watch Netflix instead. When I go outside I like to walk around in a fenced in yard. I don't mind if it's a small yard, any yard will do. When my fosters go to work I don't mind being in a crate, but I prefer to lay on the couch so I can watch tv and relax. 📺 I have some foster siblings that I am very fond of. I love other dogs, I have a sister cat that I don't mind and I even have a human toddler that loves to play house with me. My foster mom says I am a very good girl as I let my toddler hold me, have tea parties with me and snuggle me on the couch. I get along with just about anyone! I am a gentle soul who is looking for someone to love me as much as I will love them. 🥰 My birthday is 5/18/19 making me 5 1/2 years young! 🎉 Vetting on 12/5/24, including all my shots, deworming, flea and tick, as well as a health certification. Microchipped ✅ I do have an adoption fee of $550. If you are interested in meeting me or hearing more about me please message Melanie, my foster mom. I can't wait to meet you! Please share to help me find my new family. I have been rescued and fostered through tinypawssmalldogrescue.org TINY PAWS DATCP # 274478

Story
Meet Laverne! Age: Golden Oldie Breed: Miniature Dachshund/Terrier Mix Weight: 15 pounds Good with: dogs and cats, older kids House trained: Yes Crate trained: Not needed, free roams Special Needs: Laverne is blind so potential hazards should be blocked (stairs). Taking Denamarin for elevated liver labs. Foster location: Beaver Dam Laverne is a friendly and sweet Doxie mix who is looking to be a loved member of a family. Due to her being blind, she can be a nervous at first in a new space but quickly acclimates, and is soon busy stealing the hearts of all the humans around her. Laverne is a fairly independent pup but loves to be near her people. She happily lives with a dog and cats in her foster home. Laverne can live in a home with kids, but would need a home with older kids that respected her lack of vision (she does not growl or snap, but quick movements make her a bit jumpy). Despite being blind, Laverne is able to navigate well, even being able to use a few stairs to go out to potty. This poor pup has severe dental disease and Albert’s will be sponsoring her dental in December. This doesn’t stop Laverne from loving mealtime. This gentle gal loves to eat, nap in a cozy spot and loves to ride in the car. Her lack of vision doesn’t deter her from enjoying meeting new friends. Laverne is a cozy pup. She loves butt scratches and an opportunity to nap. She has so much love to give and is so deserving of a fantastic home, could it be yours? Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Story
7 months old (estimated) Male (will be neutered prior to adoption) Cute low rider (short legs) No known experience with cats, dogs, or children More information coming soon! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.December 4, 2024, 1:16 am
