Max’s beloved owner received a devastating diagnosis and was placed in hospice care. The life they had shared for seven years suddenly came to an end, and Max found himself trying to make sense of a world without the person he loved most. If you look into Max’s eyes, you may see a little sadness there. We think he knows something is missing. He was the best companion he could possibly be to his person, and now he is waiting for someone who will be his person again.Max is a beautiful 7-year-old Doberman mix with a gentle heart. He loves people and is sweet and friendly with both adults and children. He enjoys being with his human friends and has so much love left to give. We don`t know how he feels about other dogs, so a meet and greet will be required to make sure everyone is comfortable. He has never been around cats. Like many dogs, Max isn`t a big fan of thunderstorms. When the skies rumble, he would probably appreciate a little extra reassurance and someone reminding him that everything is going to be okay .For seven years, Max gave his person his whole heart. He stayed by her side, listened to her stories, kept her company and loved her through everything. Now, this sweet senior deserves someone who will do the same for him. Max isn`t looking for anything complicated. He wants a loving person to talk to, a comfortable place to call home, a soft spot to rest his head and someone who will cherish him for all the days ahead. His golden years are here. 04/12/26. One-year-old Rocco is still waiting for his forever home. He’s currently training with the wonderful team at Diversity K9, and he’s absolutely crushing his goals. He enjoys other dogs, and while he can be a little cautious when meeting new people at first, he warms up with patience and trust—then turns into a total Velcro cuddle bug. Rocco is a true working Doberman, so he’ll thrive with an adopter who’s committed to continuing his training and helping him be the best version of himself. Here’s what his fabulous trainer has to say: He’s honestly the best guy. He’s crate trained, walks great on a leash, and has a stellar recall. He knows place/down/stay, tug, drop, center, forward, back, and he’s muzzle trained. He’s good with baths and great with other dogs—he just plays really rough and tumble. He’s done well with both male and female dogs, big and small, but he can be a lot when he plays—so he wouldn’t be a good match for a dog that doesn’t share his play style. He’s good with people too, but he needs a little time before he wants pets. Once he warms up, he’s a total cuddle bug who thinks he’s a 10âlb Chihuahua. He’s happy to walk next to new people, take treats, do recall, etc. I’m just big on not pushing physical affection—especially with guarding breeds—and letting the dog have a say in the interaction. He’s high energy and LOVES to work. He’s so fun to train—then after 10 minutes, I sit down and he literally throws himself into my lap like, “Cuddle time!” He’s the biggest goofball I’ve ever met and insanely smart. I truly can’t say enough good things about him. I’ve worked with so many dogs and I love them all, but some are extra special—and he’s 10,000% one of them. If you’re ready for your new best friend, Rocco might be your guy. It all starts with an application. 1/24/26. Rocko is currently enjoying an eight-week training program with Diversity K9! Once he completes his training, he'll be ready to find his forever home.
