You might recognize my name from the famous character Director Nick Fury of the Marvel movies, I'm kinda like him: I love being the center of attention and don't like it when people take my stuff! I am a big dog! With my mixed Doberman Pinscher/Black Labrador genes I am a whopping 52#/lbs and have a ton of energy and muscle that needs to be worked! Because of this it would be best if I was paired with an active family who knows how to keep a dog mentally stimulated and respects my boundaries well. No apartment living for me please! No cats or small children either! My caretakers have learned some important things about me: I am a chow-hound and will try to eat anything I can get my hands on! So please leave food out of reach from me or I'll swoop it all up. Secondly, I would prefer if people didn't grab things that I have in my mouth, it's mine not yours hehe! Diesel just turned 4 months old. He is a happy and playful puppy. He is potty trained and is quick to pick up tricks. He will play with anyone who is willing, even cats. He loves being around people, but he is still getting used to his size and heavy paws so caution should be taken with smaller children. He is a huge foodie. Absolutely loves carrots, especially if they are frozen. He is still teething so he is in his biting phase- rubber toys and frozen foods help a ton! He is not a big fan of the cold, but he loves to play in the snow. Due to financial reasons we’ve had to make the really tough decision to rehome Diesel. We’ve recently noticed that he sometimes falls randomly. We had exams done, and everything came back normal. Our vet suggested seeing a specialist to fully rule out any underlying issues, but we can’t afford the additional testing. We want to be transparent about this so that whoever welcomes him into their home is fully informed and prepared to follow up if needed.
