Story
And along comes Mary, the sweetest Doberman girl you will ever meet.   This girl is barely one year old and weighs no more than 45 pounds with a little more healthy weight to add to her previously starved body.   Coming to Critter Cavalry Rescue as a stray that was taken to a Tennessee shelter, she stood out with her sweet eyes that just begged you to love her.  She has no problems with other dogs big or small, but she does like to chase the cats and they are stressed about this.  We are changing her current home to one with no cats and waiting for a family who will nurture her body and soul.  She is crate trained, housebroken and has a beautiful spirit that wants to please and love you.  Mary the Doberman is ALL LOVE for her humans and will be a 55 girl when at her optimum weight in the next few months.    She has no character flaws and is a bright and loving girl that will curl up with you to watch the world go by and to make your life sweeter.  We are looking for a fenced yard in her new home.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested and can provide the best home possible for the best girl that deserves a richer life        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 22, 2025, 7:02 pm

Story
Petty, aka "Max" is a lovable young senior dog looking for a retired or work-at-home human/family to share the rest of his life with. He has been three-legged since aged two, has learned to adapt all his daily activities, and travels very well. After 3 months in foster care, Max has learned to play with other dogs! He still has limitations, but he loves to roll on the ground to gently wrestle with his foster siblings. Daily walking has given him additional strength in his legs. He can climb and run with the best of them. He can still slip if not careful, and he is not a fan of very cold weather. He has to be coaxed out the door or just walked on leash in sleet or cold rain. Temperatures above 50 will get him outdoors in any kind of weather. Max is such a social guy that he prefers to be with his humans or dogs rather than alone. He does not chew on anything but food, and is highly food motivated. He is also very human oriented, but followed the lead of his foster brother when he learned new house rules. He walks extremely well, but pulls on occasion when squirrels or rabbits are nearby. He walks fine with a Gentle Leader, but his gait is hopped, so his owner needs to be someone with good balance. He loves to be outdoors and walk on leash. A medium-sized fenced yard would be an additional bonus for this dog as he is an active and young senior.Having said that, Max would also be a wonderful companion dog and fellow couch potato at night. He seems to be much more Chocolate Lab than Red Doberman, with a strong lab lean, and would love to lie on the couch next to a human. He does not sit on laps, but would love to be on the bed sleeping next to his human. I would not expect him to break that habit easily (although he is trying). Max will also counter-surf if he can get away with it. Having lost his last owner, Max does have some minor anxiety issues over separation, and does not enjoy being crated. He is not destructive, though, and tolerates being confined to a room with music and his foster brother when the humans are gone from the house. He has no toileting issues doing his business outside, and sleeps very well at night. He knows many commands, and will give a bark when someone approaches the house or yard. He infrequently can give off an aura which can intimidate some less secure dogs, but really he is a loving goofball, and has done very well with dogs, kids and toddlers at the local Farmers' Market and adoption events. He loves meeting people! Max would love to have a stable home with an active adult/family to spend his senior years. He is very healthy, loves being groomed, and getting attention, affection, and slow but steady exercise. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Petty's adoption fee is $275. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41To see Max walking on leash, copy and paste into your browser:https://youtube.com/shorts/rCh7Zh14-Ng?feature=shareLOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Jett is a 1-year-old male Doberman mix weighing around 50 lbs. He’s the perfect mix of playful and calm—always happy to join in on a fun game or go for a nice walk, but just as content to curl up next to you when it’s time to relax. Jett loves other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for an active home that also enjoys cozy downtime. Jett is neutered, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

Story
Okla has been with our family for about a year now, last December she was found abandoned on the side of the road with her siblings and we took her in. She’s a sweet loving girl who loves people and other animals. Unfortunately during this past year our families circumstances have changed and we cannot accommodate her high energy needs which leads to her being destructive. She’s also much larger than we anticipated and with having young children and my grandmother in our home it is too much.

Story
💕 Kiara – Sweet, Shy, and Ready for Her First Real Family 💕 Kiara came to us after growing up as part of an oopsie litter of backyard dogs, which meant she didn’t get the early socialization most puppies receive. Because of that, the world felt a little big and overwhelming at first — but with patient guidance and lots of love at K9netic Pack, she has absolutely blossomed. Kiara has gone from a fearful girl to a confident, curious, incredibly sweet dog who truly wants to connect with people. Once she warms up, she becomes affectionate, loving, and so eager to be part of your world. She has a gentle soul, a working-breed brain, and a heart that melts the moment she trusts you. She is still building her dog-to-dog social skills, so slow introductions are best. She’s dog selective, but she may do well with a calm, neutral, dog-savvy companion who won’t overwhelm her. She would also be perfectly happy as the only dog, soaking up all your attention. Kiara LOVES kids, but because she can be a little shy and startles easily, we recommend a home with children 10 and older simply to ensure a calm, predictable environment as she continues growing in confidence. Kiara is the kind of dog who will bond deeply, love fiercely, and blossom beautifully with a patient, kind family. She’s ready for a forever home full of love, stability, and gentle encouragement — the kind of home she’s never had before. 💖 📍 Located in Poolesville, MD 🐾 Spayed, fully vetted, and professionally trained ✨ Adoption includes post-adoption support through K9netic Pack Apply to adopt Kiara: www.underdogdivision.org
