Story
Lady was found wandering near our home. We live in an area prone for doggie-dumping. We attempted to find her owner for over a month, when no one came forward, had her spayed, all shots, & heartworm tested. She is super-friendly, not a barker loves EVERYONE (hello, Husky-personality, don't get her if you want a guard dog), loves to play with the other dogs and run outside, plays with the cat as well. Crate-trained for when we leave her in the house (she can find things to entertain herself otherwise), house-trained, & loves to sleep on the bed with you (until she gets too hot & heads to the floor). She loves Kong stuffed toys. The vet estimated her @ ~1 yr old, so still very young & high energy. We love her bunches, but we feel she'd live her best life in a home with an active family. Would do best as mainly indoor dog with outside play time. Must be leashed for walks. MUST have un-climbable fenced yard. Will NOT adopt out if you are planning to tie her outside.

Story
Molly was abandoned near London AR. We took her in because there was no where else to take her, all kennels are full. She is about 1 yr old and we looking for someone that has a bit of property where she can explore and roam. She is a good hiking dog and smart and showing signs of being very trainable. she loves to play, chase, and go on hikes. She is the type of dog that deserves a good owner. She wants to be a lap dog and she gives hugs. I am not sure of her breed. Maybe there is Aus. cattle dog, but I am just not sure

Story
This beauty, Britney, came into the rescue with her best friends in 2022 from a local shelter. A foster quickly scooped all three up and carried them home just in time for the cold weather. Sweet Brytney has come to really enjoy the home life, but we sure would love it if she could enjoy that experience in her forever home. According to her foster, Brytney is full of life and love! Just barely bigger than an average pup this girl flip flops around 40lbs. She is a goofy girl, willing to do just about anything for a treat! She is fully house & kennel trained! Her foster has said that training her is a breeze. Brittney has an abundance of energy but listens really well and behaves on command. She loves all the friends! Brytney's foster home is on a farm. She gets along with all the animals- cows, horses, barn cats, and her other canine foster friends. When it’s time to settle in for the night, Britney loves to curl up in your lap or around your neck. She loves tummy rubs! Britney is looking to live her best life with someone who loves to have fun and go on adventures. All dogs have age appropriate vaccines including Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies. Story
Larkspur came from a hoarding situation and with some TLC she is ready to find her forever home!  She is being fostered in a home that has dogs and kids and loves both! She is sweet, loving and loyal.  She loves to play ball and she is learning fetch.  She is still working on her leash training, but has come a long way.  It does take her her a little time to warm up due to her past situation but once she warms up she is fine. She will need someone with patience and let her know its going to be ok.  She is potty trained and knows the doggy door, she also know how to sit and doesnt jump. All dogs have age appropriate vaccines including Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies. All dogs are spayed or neutered, and wormed for parasites. Older puppies and adults are tested for heartworms and treated if found to be positive.  NovaStar is a 501C3 non-profit rescue that receives no monetary help from local, state or federal entities.
