Story
Meet Ace! This handsome young Black-Mouth Cur mix is ready to meet you at our Marathon Campus! While we`re still getting to know all of his likes and dislikes, spending time with Ace has been a joy. He`s proven himself to be funny, energetic and affectionate. Ace has shown an interest in other dogs, so he may be a good fit for a family that already has a dog, as long as it`s a good fit. We love Ace, and we think you will too! Meet Ace at our Marathon Campus.

Story
For over 500 days, Ms. Teri has waited, and we’ve watched her face grow greyer. At 10.5 years old, it’s heartbreaking to see a senior shelter dog get completely overlooked—especially one we think is so great.Ms. Teri’s ideal situation would be as the only pet. She cannot be placed in a home with other animals. But she absolutely adores all people and is one of the most cuddly, affectionate, and loving dogs you’ll ever meet. Her favorite place is right in your lap. Ms. Teri is smart, engaging, and eager to please, which has made training her a breeze. Thanks to her personal trainer, former foster mom, and our kennel staff, she’s learned so much—we guarantee she’s better behaved than most dogs you’ll meet, and her skill set will impress you. She loves car rides, long walks, and is always up for an adventure. At home, she’s more than happy to curl up on the couch and watch a movie with her favorite thing: humans. Please don’t let Ms. Teri wait another day—or gain another grey hair—without a family to call her own. You can meet Ms. Teri at our Marathon Campus

Story
Uncle Rubbie is a super-friendly, very beautiful 17-month-old (born June 27, 2024) dark grey merle 165-lb (and growing) pure-bred male European Great Dane. He comes with his breeder paperwork and is fully registered. Uncle Rubbie is fully trained (crate, potty, socialized, manners, basic commands). Uncle Rubbie is an incredible companion dog. A family emergency in Vermont (we are located in the Florida Keys) keeps my wife constantly on the road between the two, and my job (a police officer with Key West PD) means Rubbie is rarely around his people. Uncle Rubbie loves to be around his people; he is not cut out to be alone or in a kennel all day. He is not yet fixed. Uncle Rubbie comes with all of his belongings. Please contact for an extensive Q&A.
