You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Rosemary & Her Sweet Herb Puppies!    Rosemary is a devoted mama who made quite the journey with her six adorable puppies in search of brighter days. This sweet family came to Pet Rescue By Judy from an overcrowded shelter in the Florida Panhandle. Thanks to a lifesaving road trip, they are now safe with us and ready to find the loving forever homes they so deserve.    Rosemary appears to be a black and tan hound mix with a gentle, nurturing nature. She has taken wonderful care of her babies and has been nothing but loving and patient with them. Rosemary will be looking for her own forever home too, once her puppies are ready.    Her six puppies are named after herbs, and they are just as delightful as their names:    Oregano Dill Thyme Cilantro Parsley Mint(the only girl of the group!)         The puppies are believed to have a Catahoula Leopard Dog father. We think this because many of them have beautiful merle markings and some striking light-colored eyes. These pups are growing, playful, and full of puppy curiosity, and they’re sure to become stunning dogs as they mature.    This sweet little herb garden is ready to spice up your life with love, fun, and puppy kisses. If you’re looking to add a loyal companion—or a little puppy joy—to your family, Rosemary and her puppies would love to meet you. Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog,  dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential .   We  strongly recommend that the  entire family  participates in puppy training classes . This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the  same commands and techniques , creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.   **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families!  Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success. Story
Tank is a 5–6-year-old Lab mix who weighs about 80 pounds of pure sweetness. He also has a pretty unusual backstory. Tank came to us from a shelter in Georgia that scanned him for a microchip and accidentally misread the number. They contacted Tracy’s Paws, believing he was one of ours. When he was transported back to Texas, we quickly realized the chip information was incorrect — but by then, Tank had already stolen our hearts. So, we decided he was meant to stay. Tank is very obedient, loves being around people, and truly enjoys human companionship. He does well with other dogs when paired with the right handler and guidance. He’s a big, affectionate boy with a lot of love to give, and we’re grateful that a simple mix-up led him exactly where he was supposed to be. Tank is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Petersburg, FL on February 21st. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* She is heartworm and Chagas negative.

Story
Harvey — The Playful, Puppy‑Hearted Basset and Terrier Mix Harvey is a 25‑pound bundle of joy with the long‑eared charm of a basset hound and the goofy, irresistible energy of a puppy. This boy is all about fun — he loves to play, explore, and soak up every bit of attention he can get. He’s the perfect match for a family with kids who want a cheerful, active companion to run around with. Harvey is super loving and thrives on affection, always ready for snuggles after a good play session. He gets along well with all the dogs here at the shelter, though he’d be happiest in a home with female dogs, where he feels most comfortable and confident. Harvey is ready to bring laughter, love, and endless tail wags to the family lucky enough to call him their own. Harvey is located in Hondo, Texas He is available for transport to St. Petersburg, FL on February 21, 2026 with an approved application. Harvey's adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport. He is Heartworm and CHAGAS negative.
