Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Steven is a handsome beagle with a sweet face and a quiet charm that's hard to resist. He's the kind of dog who doesn't demand the spotlight — but once he has your heart, he has it completely.Outside, Steven truly comes alive. Give him a leash and a trail and he's in pure beagle bliss, nose to the ground, tail up, following every invisible story the world has left behind. He loves walks and garden time, and has plenty of energy to enjoy both. Steven moves and plays with the enthusiasm of a young dog. As with most beagles, a securely fenced garden is a must — once a scent catches his attention, his nose will lead the way!Inside, Steven is calm and unobtrusive. He's quiet around the house and mostly potty trained — he'll let you know when he needs to go out, making the routine easy to establish. He's comfortable in a crate and settles in without fuss. He's still finding his footing — and recovering from recent dental surgery — so he's been gravitating toward quieter spaces, but he's no trouble at all.Steven is good with other dogs but equally happy as an only pet. He's not one to demand constant companionship — he's simply content, whether he has a four-legged friend beside him or a quiet house to himself.Steven would do best in a calm, patient home with a securely fenced garden where he can safely explore to his heart's content. He'd thrive with someone who appreciates a dog that's content to just be — peaceful inside, joyful outside. If you're looking for a sweet, handsome boy who will grow in confidence with the right family, Steven might be exactly who you've been waiting for.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 22, 2026, 10:10 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Chelsi and this is Remy. He will be turning 5 on February 14th 2026. Remy loves to play. He loves children especially if they love to run and throw balls like he does. You will capture his heart if you give him a treat. Remy does suffer from seizures that have in the past 6 months gotten worse to where he is to be on seizure meds now. I am a younger single mother, and the medicine is not in the range of me being able to buy medicine monthly like he needs to be on. I am hoping someone is looking for an obedient best friend, companion and a protector as I am looking for the same for Remy. It breaks my heart to know I cannot afford to care for him like he deserve to be taken care of, because he is such a great dog. I am going to ask, if such person adopts my Remy, could I keep in touch to see how he is doing. I really love my RemDem with all my heart and want keep him, but I can't afford his medical upkeep. He loves his nickname RemDem and loves to have a good rubbin'

Good with dogs,
Story
Meet King! a distinguished senior Cocker Spaniel whose stunning coat is matched only by his regal and gentle soul. King found himself back in our care after his previous owners could unfortunately no longer look after him, and he is now searching for a peaceful sanctuary to spend his golden years. He is the ultimate "potato dog"—easy-going, mellow, and perfectly content to spend his days lounging by your side. A true gentleman, King is already potty trained and carries himself with grace on a leash, making him an ideal companion for an apartment, a condo, or any home looking for a low-maintenance best friend. While King is incredibly sweet and gets along famously with both people and other dogs, he appreciates a soft touch and a family that respects his boundaries as he enjoys his retirement. He isn't looking for a high-speed adventure; he’s looking for a warm bed, a kind word, and a steady routine. King is ready to blend seamlessly back into a family environment, offering the kind of quiet, profound loyalty that only a senior dog can give. If you have a quiet corner in your home and a lot of love in your heart, King is ready to be the crowning jewel of your life.

Good with dogs,
Story
Meet Enzo! He is a Shih Tzu who has endured a lifetime of neglect after being rescued from an overcrowded, overrun breeding situation in Tennessee during freezing temperatures. His world was once very small, and he was only ever used—never loved, never shown what it means to be safe in a home. Now that Enzo is in rescue, he’s beginning the slow, brave journey of learning trust. He is fearful and needs a very gentle, patient approach. A calm, quiet home will be essential for him to feel secure and open up at his own pace. Enzo has never been a home dog before, so everything—from household routines to human affection—is new to him. He does well with other dogs, which helps boost his confidence. Enzo is currently scared of the leash, but our trainers are working with him on building confidence and structure. At this time, he does not enjoy being handled yet, but with consistency, patience, and respect for his boundaries, he continues to make progress. Enzo is looking for an experienced, compassionate adopter who understands that healing takes time and that trust is earned, not rushed. With the right home, Enzo has the potential to truly blossom and discover the life he’s always deserved
