Hello, my name is Chelsi and this is Remy. He will be turning 5 on February 14th 2026. Remy loves to play. He loves children especially if they love to run and throw balls like he does. You will capture his heart if you give him a treat. Remy does suffer from seizures that have in the past 6 months gotten worse to where he is to be on seizure meds now. I am a younger single mother, and the medicine is not in the range of me being able to buy medicine monthly like he needs to be on. I am hoping someone is looking for an obedient best friend, companion and a protector as I am looking for the same for Remy. It breaks my heart to know I cannot afford to care for him like he deserve to be taken care of, because he is such a great dog. I am going to ask, if such person adopts my Remy, could I keep in touch to see how he is doing. I really love my RemDem with all my heart and want keep him, but I can't afford his medical upkeep. Meet Enzo! He is a Shih Tzu who has endured a lifetime of neglect after being rescued from an overcrowded, overrun breeding situation in Tennessee during freezing temperatures. His world was once very small, and he was only ever used—never loved, never shown what it means to be safe in a home. Now that Enzo is in rescue, he’s beginning the slow, brave journey of learning trust. He is fearful and needs a very gentle, patient approach. A calm, quiet home will be essential for him to feel secure and open up at his own pace. Enzo has never been a home dog before, so everything—from household routines to human affection—is new to him. He does well with other dogs, which helps boost his confidence. Enzo is currently scared of the leash, but our trainers are working with him on building confidence and structure. At this time, he does not enjoy being handled yet, but with consistency, patience, and respect for his boundaries, he continues to make progress.
