Outkast is kennel trained, quiet, and an absolute kid magnet. He’s been cat- and chicken-tested and passed with flying colors — completely chill around his furry and feathered friends. He’s also done amazingly well with his canine foster sisters (all girls!), proving he’s a polite and friendly housemate. Outkast can be a little shy around men at first, but a little patience, love, and reassurance goes a long way. I got Delilah when she was about 6 months old from an animal shelter in Jacksonville FL. I’ve had her for almost 10 years now. My wife and I want to find a loving home for her. I love her with all my heart. She has never been aggressive towards a human in her life but is very aggressive towards cats and dogs she doesn’t know. She has never truly been around small children either. She is slightly anxious but as she has gotten older this has mellowed out. She loves to lay in the sun and to shallow holes to lay in, in the backyard. She has a very sweet demeanor towards people and is obedient. You can leave a plate of food on the table and every bit of it will still be there when you return. She is also a free feeder and has never been over or underweight. Overall a very low maintenance dog but she must strictly be an only dog.

Millie was picked up as a stray and had been at a local overcrowded shelter for three months. She is a 55 pound German shorthaired pointer mix which makes her have a unique appearance and lively personality. Millie is a larger dog with a sleek, muscular build typical of Pointers. She has a short, shiny coat that is mostly white with black patches. Her expressive brown eyes and floppy ears give her an endearing and approachable look. Millie is known for her playful and energetic nature. She loves to run and play. One of Millie’s most notable traits is her impressive fence-climbing ability. This talent first became apparent when she came to her foster home. Curious about the world beyond her yard, Millie will climb over the fence to explore the neighborhood. Her escapades led to many amusing incidents, such as surprising the neighbors by appearing in their yards. Millie will require a 6 foot fence to manage her adventurous spirit. Millie's daily routine includes morning runs, playtime at the dog park, and engaging activities like puzzle toys and obedience training. Despite her adventurous nature, Millie is well-behaved at home. She enjoys lounging in her favorite spot by the window, watching the world go by, and greeting visitors with enthusiastic tail wags. Millie is low heartworm positive and is on slow kill monthly prevention. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. I got Luna when she was 4 months old, at jaskson county animal shelter. She has been with me for 2 years. She is a young energetic, very curious, loving girl. Who loves to run, chew up some sticks. She won’t eat them she just loves to chewing on them and spiting it out. She will always be excited your home, won’t give you a moment to yourself she will follow you everywhere you go. She does have a history with two dog fights, there were two other dogs involved. Her and another dog was attacking the other dog. She has a confident personality. I feel like she needs to be in a self home. She hasn’t been good with other dogs since those fights. They were about a year ago. I don’t know how to teach her that is not correct behavior. I don’t have enough income to get her a home for her and I. She is no longer welcome at my moms.
