Story
Snagglepuss is a 9-year-old Chihuahua with a truly one-of-a-kind grin. How did she manage both an overbite and an underbite at the same time? Science may never know but we are OBSESSED!! This is very much a “face only a mother could love,” and lucky for Snagglepuss, we love it a lot. What her teeth lack in alignment, she more than makes up for in personality. Snagglepuss is the ultimate velcro dog: cuddly, confident, and completely fearless. Cats? Cool. Dogs? Fine. Pigs? Whatever. Humans? Already attached to you. Her favorite place in the world is burrowed under the blankets, pressed right up against her person like a tiny heated loaf. Her favorite things in the world is when you give her kisses all over her place and tell her how pretty she is.  She is mostly housetrained… unless there’s a puppy pad involved. She’s not an expert, but she truly does try her best.  If you’re looking for a low-to-the-ground cuddle bug with a hilarious smile, zero fear, and maximum devotion- Snagglepuss is ready to crawl under the covers and into your heart.   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.  Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application.  We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file.  For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. Story
Wolfgang is a unique, lovable dog with a personality all his own. He absolutely adores men and children and forms strong, loyal bonds with them. Due to past trauma, he’s very uneasy around women, so he’ll need a home that can respect his boundaries and set him up for success with the people he feels safe with. This sweet boy loves kids and enjoys being part of their world. He also has a funny little quirk—Wolfgang thinks he’s a cat! He loves to perch up high and observe everything from above, totally content and chill. Despite his calm, easygoing nature, Wolfgang has gone through heartbreak. He was abandoned on a front porch when his owners moved away, but he’s still hopeful and ready for a fresh start with someone who will finally give him the love and stability he deserves. If you’re looking for a gentle, quirky, child-loving dog with a peaceful vibe and a big heart, Wolfgang could be your perfect match. Story
Meet Nola — 6-Year-Old Velcro Queen  Previously used for breeding, she is now looking for a forever home that will treat her like the cherished companion she was always meant to be. Personality & TemperamentNola is the definition of a velcro dog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants to be by your side every moment of the day, she’s your girl. Whether you're relaxing on the couch, moving from room to room, or working from home you can count on Nola to be right there with you, offering quiet affection and companionship. She does not do well with other animals and prefers to be the one and only pet in the home. She can also be overwhelmed by small children, so an adult-only household (or older teens) is best. Nola loves her people deeply and doesn’t like to share attention. She wants her special person all to herself. Ideal HomeNola will thrive in a calm, stable home where she can enjoy a predictable routine and quality time with her person. She is kennel trained. Quirks & CharmNola comes with some adorable quirks that will make you laugh on a daily basis: She has a radical belief that all water must be consumed the moment it appears. Small bowls of water are recommended. No large bodies of water should be in her reach.  Water sports are not recommended—playing with sprinklers or kiddie pools is not suitable for Nola. She will enthusiastically chase a water hose like it’s her sworn enemy. These little traits only add to her charm and personality. Medical & CareNola has a mild incontinence issue and will need to wear diapers or have access to puppy pads. She has adapted well to this routine and doesn’t let it slow her down. Her adopter should be prepared to support her with patience, understanding, and consistency. She will go potty outside as well but cannot hold her bladder due to overbreeding. Why She’s SpecialNola is a companion who loves big and stays loyal. She wants nothing more than to be someone’s whole world. She’ll happily give her heart in return. If you’re looking for a one-on-one bond with a dog who will adore you endlessly, Nola may be your perfect match. Interested in Nola?Reach out today to learn more or schedule a meet-and-greet. This sweet girl is ready for the chance to finally be loved the way she deserves. PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:   Completed applications take precedence over inquiries.
