Meet Pepper: Looking for Her Forever Home! Our dog unexpectedly had a litter of 6 puppies after a stray male dog kept getting into our yard. We found loving homes for all of them except sweet little Pepper. 🐾 About Pepper: Gets alone with cats, young children and other dogs. She's been spayed and is up to date on her shots She's kennel and potty trained. Pepper is a sweet, shy puppy. We believe she would thrive best in a home where someone has the time and patience to help her fully adjust and succeed. If you're looking for a lovable companion and can provide the attention she needs, Pepper may be the perfect match for you! Free to a loving home!

Story
Pepper came to us after being found in a Northern Mississippi Animal Shelter. She was pregnant and ready to give birth. A wonderful foster pulled her out of the shelter and Pepper had her puppies at a foster home. Pepper was a great momma and all her puppies were adopted. Pepper is a beautiful 2-year-old mixed breed girl (Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever) with a sweet soul and a whole lot of love to give. She is housebroken and has been living peacefully with four other dogs in her foster home, making her a great candidate for a multi-dog household. Pepper is curious by nature and has shown interest in cats, but she has never shown aggression toward them. Because of her curiosity and energy level, a cat-free home or a home experienced with managing dog-cat introductions would be best. This sweet girl is truly kind-hearted and gentle with no aggressive tendencies. She does, however, have a lot of strength and enthusiasm. She’s the kind of dog who will benefit greatly from continued leash training as she can currently take the lead on walks. Pepper has not had formal training yet. Unfortunately, her heartworm treatment required her activity to be restricted, which made consistent training difficult. Once she completes treatment and is cleared for regular activity, she will be ready to learn and thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement. Pepper would do best in a home committed to helping her grow into the amazing companion she’s meant to be. With guidance, exercise, and love, she’ll make a loyal and devoted best friend. Story
We rescued Hank a little over 2 years ago. He was just 6 months old when we brought him into our family (he’ll be 3 years old in October 2026). We hoped he’d be a great companion for our older dog—and he was! Unfortunately, an unfixed male dog repeatedly got into our yard, and we ended up with an unexpected litter of 6 puppies. It’s been a challenging six months, and while we’ve found loving homes for 5 of them, we still have one puppy left—and now two dogs who need more attention than we’re able to give. Due to moving, downsizing, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome Hank and the last remaining puppy. He is good with other dogs, cats and children. Fixed Up to date on vaccinations Recently had a heartworm test and are on preventative medication. Hank is incredibly sweet and just wants love. He still needs a little work on jumping up (mostly attention-seeking), but he’s a smart dog and responds well to care and consistency. Free to a good home!
