Story
Griffin came to us at two months old in August of 2025. He is a very sweet, loving dog who just needs constant cuddles. We have a young child who he does great with. We have inside and outside cats who he also gets along with. Our issue is our cattle - Griffin cannot seem to stop chasing them and it stressed out the mama cows and the bull. Griffin is house trained, but not indoor trained. He has his own little space in the house with a baby gate where he sleeps at night. He stays in and indoor/outdoor kennel during the day. He loves to play ball and he loves his licking mat and puzzle toy. He knows how to sit and stay and is working on lay down. He jumps up when excited, but is easily redirected. He would come with all his toys, his bed, collar, harness and leash, and tons of treats. We just want him to go to a good home where we know he will be safe and loved.

Story
?? Apollo is Ready for Liftoff… Again! ??Meet Apollo, our handsome 4-year-old Lab mix who is neutered, ready to go home, and preparing for his next mission: finding his true forever family.Apollo was previously adopted from us, but through absolutely no fault of his own, he’s back at the shelter. While we’re happy to have him safe with us again, we know he deserves a home where he can finally stay for good. This sweet boy is more than ready to trade kennel life for couch life.Like any respectable Lab mix, Apollo runs on treats. Training snacks, reward snacks, “just because you’re cute” snacks… he’s not picky. If you’ve got treats, you’ve got his attention.Apollo is a bit of an independent explorer. He’d love a home where he can roam around, check things out, and do his own thing—but when he decides it’s cuddle time, he fully expects a cozy spot and some well-deserved affection. Think of him as the kind of dog who says, “I love you… but also I have important sniffing business to attend to.”While Apollo enjoys his independence, he can also experience a little separation anxiety when inside, so a patient home that can help him feel safe and secure when left alone will help him thrive. When it comes to other dogs, Apollo can be a little particular about his friends, so meet and greets with any resident dogs will be required to make sure everyone gets along before heading home together.Apollo has already packed his bags and is ready to make his great escape from the shelter—this time hopefully for good. All he needs now is someone willing to give him the second chance he truly deserves.? If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a little independence, a big heart, and a serious appreciation for snacks, Apollo might just be your guy. Come meet him and help this sweet boy complete his final mission: finding his forever home. ????

Story
?? RETURNING QUEEN ALERT ??Miss Miya has entered the chat… again. Yes, this is her second tour at the shelter, and before anyone gets dramatic—she is here through absolutely no fault of her own after the heartbreaking passing of her owner. ??Now that we’ve addressed the sad part, let’s get into the IMPORTANT part:? HER ?Miya is a 7.5-year-old German Shepherd mix who is spayed, up to date on everything (she will need her rabies), and absolutely bursting at the seams with personality. This is not your calm, quietly-sits-in-the-corner type of gal. Oh no. This is a “where are you going? why are you going there? can I come? I’m coming anyway.” kind of girl. She wants to be near you at all times. Not “in the same house.” Not “in the same room.” We’re talking emotionally, spiritually, physically attached. Bathroom trips? Together. Snacks? Shared experience. Personal space? Never heard of her.Miya is full of spunk, sass, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting. She would THRIVE in an active home that can keep up with her energy and maybe help her slim down just a tiny bit—but we are NOT here to discuss a lady’s weight. That is between her and her reflection only. ???? Small livestock? Absolutely not. That is a hard no from Miya. She has opinions, and unfortunately, chickens, goats, and other small critters are not on her “friends” list. What she does need is someone who understands that she’s been through a lot, loves hard, and deserves a home that will embrace her clingy, sassy, slightly chaotic self forever this time.If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a built-in best friend, and a dog who will absolutely insert herself into every moment of your life… Miya is ready.Come meet her before she invites herself into your car anyway. ????

Story
Rocky ??At just 7 months old, Rocky is still trying to figure out how to be a puppy… and the world is a pretty big, confusing place right now. This shy but incredibly sweet pitbull mix is a little awkward on his feet, a little unsure of all the new sights and sounds, and still learning that life doesn’t have to be so scary. But underneath that timid exterior? There’s a heart FULL of love just waiting to be shared.Sit down with Rocky for even a moment, and I promise—you’ll see it. The way he slowly inches closer, the way he melts into you once he feels safe… it’ll have you wondering why you haven’t taken him home already. ??Rocky will need a patient and understanding home while he learns the basics—things like walking on a leash, building confidence, and discovering how to fully trust and love. But he’s trying, and that’s what makes him so special. He doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone willing to show him that the world isn’t so scary… and that he’s finally home. ??
