Story
Skye had been running the countryside for 4 & 1/2 months when I was asked to trap her. It took me 52 days but once she was caught she gave a huge sigh of relief and laid her head on my lap. She is 1 year and 8 months old. She has had 1 litter of puppies which were rescued and is spayed now. Fully vaccinated, house trained crate trained. Learning basic obedience and manners. She is very playful and happy. Typical of herding dogs she gets nippy when very excited but does not bite or draw blood and quits this once the zoomies wear off. She will fetch & sit and stay and has never had a potty accident in the house or in her kennel. She loves toys & just following me around. She is 50 lbs. Looking for an active person or family for her. She sleeps quietly all night. After all she has been through, she still trusts and has so much love to give. Skye would love to hike and she is very fit and able. She would run with you and she loves to fetch a squeaky ball or frisbee.

Story
Lena is a 6 year old Anatolian shepherd mix we adopted from the humane society in 2019. Do not let the gray fur fool you she is full of energy and charisma like she always has been. She absolutely loves to snuggle and will love you like no other. When we first adopted Lena it was just my husband and I and at the time worked early morning hours and got off at noon and was able to give Lena so much time and energy and attention the way she deserved. I have new mental disorders ptsd depression and anxiety and have been struggling to take care of my self let alone Lena which is absolutely not fair to her this along with challenges with work, financial issues, and our landlords indicating they will be selling the home we live in it has left us in an unfavorable position most places don’t allow pets of her size. Lena deserves the absolute best furever home and I wish we could give that to her but we cant and as much as it hurts we love her enough to try to find someone who can.
