Story
Ruby here! Ruby came to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She is a young lady looking for guidance on how to be the best version of herself. She loves going for walks with volunteers and getting a good cuddle session in. She has done well with calmer dogs that let her warm up as she can be nervous at first. If you're looking for an active dog that will be your best friend, look no further! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 44 Age: 0yrs 10mths 1wks

Story
Meet Enid  Enid is a young yellow Labrador Retriever who is just beginning to discover how wonderful the world can be. She came from a hoarding situation, so everything is still very new to her. Because of that, Enid is a bit shy at first and will need a patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Once Enid starts to trust, her gentle and sweet nature really comes through. She’s a kind soul who wants to be loved, she just needs a little reassurance and consistency to help her build confidence. Enid will do best with adopters who understand that progress may be slow at first, but incredibly rewarding. With a calm environment, routine, and lots of kindness, Enid has all the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion. Watching her learn to feel safe and loved will be one of the most special parts of bringing her into your home.  The adoption fee is $400 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday!! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.  Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.  ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.  ##2642910##

Story
I got Jasper from the humane society in November, he’s a great dog. He’s adventurous and will get out if your yard isn’t secured. He needs someone that can exercise him at least once a day. He loves walks and car rides. He’s a people person and will be by your side once he settles in. He’s a bit shy at first but warm up quickly. We love him but want him to have a yard and he won’t have that in an apartment.

Story
Harley was brought to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She can be a little timid at first but once she knows you she is very sweet. She was brought in with another German Shepherd named Halo so we know she has lived with other dogs. Harley is very smart and would love a home that can keep up with her mental and physical exercise needs. Come meet this beauty today! Story
Peanut Butter is a sweet, most gentle soul; we think this mild-mannered beauty is pretty much perfect!  While Peanut feels no need to be the center of attention, she adores people and is most comfortable being close by.  She has also been known to think she’s a bit of a lap dog! Peanut Butter is a well-rounded, polite girl who highly desires to please her humans.  She loves all people including children of all ages.  She also is fantastic with other dogs.  She has also done perfect with the cats in her foster home (she is convinced that they are the boss of the house). She has demonstrated wonderful manners, sharing her toys, bed and food without any reaction Peanut’s joys include playing with toys, couches, her doggy friends, running around in the yard, and especially snuggling!  Peanut Butter also enjoys going for walks and is working on leash manners and is learning fast.  She sleeps quietly and peacefully through the night, does well in a kennel, and is doing well with potty training. Peanut appears to be highly intelligent and picks everything up very quickly and has proven to be an excellent listener.  She knows how “sit” and waits patiently for food or treats, always taking them so gently. One look into her soulful eyes and anyone will fall in love. Peanut Butter is truly an AMAZING dog!  We really could not say enough about this beautiful girl!  Whoever is lucky enough to add her to their family will be so blessed; she is an absolute gem! House trained: Mostly - picking up on routines and doing great! Leash trained: Hasn't had much practice in this freezing weather but does well Kennel trained: YesRides well in a car: YesGood with other dogs: Yes, fostered with dogs Good with cats: Yes, fostered with catsGood with young children (under 10): Yes, fostered with kidsShy or confident: On the shy side Barks: Rarely Apartment qualified: For the right person Health concerns or special needs: None  We believe this dog is a small/medium mixed breed (30 lbs) and was born around 11-28-2023. She is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $300 which helps cover the cost of vetting procedures. Adoptable pets will have received age-appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, heartworm test (if applicable) and a spay/neuter. If you’re interested in adopting this puppy/dog, please submit an inquiry or email BraveAnimalRescue@gmail.com to ask about our adoption process (please check your spam or junk email if you do not hear back from us within a few business days). We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the puppy/dog.
