Story
I originally got Nezuko from the Nebraska humane society. She is a sweet and loving dog and tries to please her owner. She does have separation anxiety and can be destructive if left alone for long enough. I work two jobs and do not have the time to be around for her which is why I am looking to re-home her to someone that can. I am unsure how she does with children though she is a little protective of strangers walk up suddenly during walks. She does not get along with other animals. She does have toys and a kennel which will be provided. Any other questions, please ask.Located in Dodge NE 68633

Story
It breaks our hearts to say this, but we’re searching for a new home for our sweet boy, Panda. Panda is an incredibly loving, energetic dog with a huge heart. He’s smart, eager to please, and quickly learns new things—he already knows commands like “lay down” and “shake.” He truly thrives on connection and attention from his people. He absolutely lights up during playtime, especially with his favorite skunk toy or any ball. Watching him run and play brings so much joy—he has a special way of brightening a home. This has been a very difficult decision, made out of love and a desire to do what’s best for him. We are also expecting, and won't have the proper time to train a young pup and raise a baby. Panda would do best as the only male dog in a home where he can receive all the time, attention, and affection he deserves. We’re hoping to find a person or family who will love him as much as we do. Please reach out if you think you could be the right home for Panda ❤️

Story
Athena is a beautiful sable merle Sheltie who was saved from puppy mill. She has been in foster care for a year and a half now. She has learned that humans can be trusted, though she is still skittish. She has some basic obedience. She will come up for pets and snacks once she trusts you! Athena is reactive and resource protective, so should be an only dog. She will bond to her human. She should be an only dog. We are looking for someone within a 2 hour radius of the Omaha area to adopt Athena. Please note that a fence is required. Story
Teeter is a beautiful, affectionate Black Lab mix (born 2022) with a big heart and an even bigger desire to bond with her people. She’s housebroken, crate trained, cat friendly, active, and loves to give kisses. She enjoys walks, fetch, and being part of a quiet, predictable household where she can relax and feel safe. Her Personality Affectionate & Sweet: She loves her people and shows it with kisses and closeness. Active & Playful: Fetch and outdoor time are her favorite ways to burn energy. A big yard to run would be perfect for her. Nervous in Busy Environments: Loud noises, chaos, and especially small children make her anxious. Cat Friendly: She does well with feline companions. Leash Trained & Knows Commands Crate Trained (although doesn't love spending time there) Teeter struggles with anxiety when left alone and also around small children - she becomes visibly stressed. She would do best in a low traffic home. Unknown how she does with other dogs.

Story
Hi! I’m Porsche. 🐾✨ Yes — like the car. And honestly? The name fits. I’m about a year and a half old, full of energy, and built for movement. I’ve got that classic German Shepherd brain — smart, alert, and ready to go. But I also have a soft side that just wants attention and connection. I recently came back to the shelter after a short stay in a home. Transitions can be a lot for a young shepherd like me. Big changes, new dogs, new environments — it’s overwhelming when everything happens at once. I’m still learning how to slow down and settle when life moves fast. Here’s what I can tell you about the real me: I’m friendly. I’m sweet. I love attention. 💕 I know sit and down, and I come when you call my name. I enjoy car rides 🚗 and I’m happiest when I have something to do — especially if it squeaks! Oh… and toys? They are my thing. 🎾 If there’s a squeaker inside, I will find it. Immediately. I love fetch — although sometimes I’d rather lie down and proudly chew on the ball like I just won a championship. I can get very focused on my toys (I take play seriously!). When I first come out of a kennel, I’ve got some zoomies in me — that young shepherd energy! But once I’m in the yard and have space to move, I settle nicely. Structure helps me. Clear expectations help me. Slow introductions help me. I’m not a “throw me in the backyard and figure it out” kind of dog. I’m a “let’s build this the right way” kind of dog. With proper introductions, supervision, and guidance, I have all the potential in the world to thrive. I would do best with: A confident, experienced dog owner Structured routines Slow, thoughtful introductions to other pets Plenty of enrichment and toy time I’m young. I’m smart. I’m full of potential. And I’m ready for someone who wants to invest in me the right way. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion with a playful heart and a working-dog brain, I might be your girl. Let’s do this properly — together. 💛 — Porsche 🐕
