Story
Cecil is a purebred English Springer Spaniel puppy. He's 9 months old, born 3/2025. He's a great loyal puppy. High energy, he likes walks and chasing tennis balls. He did some obedience classes and follows several commands well. He's an active chewer, likes kongs, balls, ropes - has not chewed furniture or anything he isn't supposed to. He does become excitable when visitors come over and often jumps, actively working on this with him. I do have a cat, he does ok with him, although he sometimes feels like chasing the cat around. I have had nephews visit, he does ok with kids, the jumping is the only issue. Only looking to rehome sadly, due to busy work schedule. Cecil would be a great dog for an active person.

Story
When we adopted Bodey he was a rescue from the Nebraska Human Society. He was abused by a man who strangled and threw him against the wall. Bodey, is a smart dog. He doesn’t like to be petted unless he approaches you. Bodey, can’t be groomed unless he is sedated or medicated. Bodey, does have a history of biting and nipping animals, kids, and adults. He growls when he feels threatened or anxious. I recommend a single person, or a couple that is experienced with abusive rescue dogs. I don’t recommend families with children. Bodey can’t be kenneled right away. It’s a trigger for him. When he becomes comfortable, the kennel can be his safe place. It’s been recommended that with medication it would help with his anxiety and his aggression. I think Bodey would be a great dog for someone who is willing to do the work and okay with medicating dogs.

Athena is a beautiful sable merle Sheltie who was saved from puppy mill. She has been in foster care for a year and a half now. She has learned that humans can be trusted, though she is still skittish. She has some basic obedience. She will come up for pets and snacks once she trusts you! Athena is reactive and resource protective, so should be an only dog. She will bond to her human. She should be an only dog. We are looking for someone within a 2 hour radius of the Omaha area to adopt Athena. Please note that a fence is required. Zucchini is a cuddly dog. He does great with kids. Does not so well with our current dogs or cats. He is good with dogs in general just our dog is a dick lol. Zucchini is house trained and knows basic commands. Zucchini does have Addison disease, which just requires a monthly shot and daily pills which are fairly inexpensive. He loves to play with toys and will play fetch all day. He comes with a kennel, dog bed and collar and leash.

Story
Mini Australian shepherd. Was originally adopted from the Humane Society in 2022. Sweet dog but very anxious to the point he gets destructive. His main issue is confinement/restraints. Does not do well in a kennel; he will bite/chew on bars due to his anxiety. He does well at dog parks. Sometimes will bark but seems to get along okay with other dogs there. Very loyal and likes to cuddle occasionally, but mostly likes to spend time by himself at home. Tends to get very anxious whenever you leave the house.
