Story
Columbus, NE - Archie - 5 year old (neutered/UTD [dob 04/2021). Was born in Sioux City, Iowa and adopted and loved by 1 owner. CALL/TEXT DAWN AT 610-787-2353. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. Email us for an application at: dawnleemcmahon@gmail.com. He is free to a loving qualified home. Owner able and willing to transport within reason to a fabulous active loving experienced HOME. 🙂 He needs a new home due to life changes that are personal in the home, but has nothing to do with Archie. Family knows he needs more than they can give him. I required exercise, stimulation and attention/time. Family loves him so much that they know he needs better. FROM OWNER: He has grown up with my daughter and has always been such a gentle dog with kids. He has not been around alot of kids but he has always been good with the ones we welcome into our home. He has a long coat and does shed as normal with said coat. He is up to date on all shot required by vet and boarding and is on his 6mo round of heartworm. Archie has not had alot of experience with other dogs and a few times when on walks other dogs have lunged at him but I have never seen him aggressive accept for a male dog coming on the property. With that being said a single dog home or one with a female i feel would be best. Ideally I would love to see him go to an acreage or somewhere with lots of love and land. A big reason I feel it is necessary to find him his forever home is because he wants to roam. Keeping him contained in my 6ft fenced in yard has been a challenge. 10 minutes or unattended time and he's dug a 3x3 hole to go on a stroll. Due to my circumstances as a single mother with no village its become increasingly difficult to give him the attention he deserves but also financially it has been hard. I want to see him in a home where maybe someone is retired or able to spend more time with him and working with him. He is such a loving dog and has always been our protector that my daughter and I want to still get updates and see how happy he is in his new home. Maybe a visit or 2 a year if allowed and wanted. We just want everyone involved to be happy!

Story
Saylor came into my care after we found her as a stray. After 24 hours, she was turned over to the “owner” who had only had her for about three days when she went missing. About an hour later, they contacted me asking if I could come back and take her because they couldn’t care for her. Since then, I’ve been trying to give her the stability and care she deserves. I was told she came from a puppy mill-type situation, was separated from her mom too early, was the runt, was bullied by the other dogs, had to fight for food, and spent much of her life confined. I can’t verify all of that history, but it does match many of the behaviors I’ve seen. She has chosen me as her “safe” person, so I’ll keep her until we find the perfect fit. My biggest priority is making sure she ends up in a patient, loving, experienced home where she’ll never have to go through this kind of instability again. (Fee covers some of her spay surgery we provided after taking her in)

Story
It breaks our hearts to say this, but we’re searching for a new home for our sweet boy, Panda. Panda is an incredibly loving, energetic dog with a huge heart. He’s smart, eager to please, and quickly learns new things—he already knows commands like “lay down” and “shake.” He truly thrives on connection and attention from his people. He absolutely lights up during playtime, especially with his favorite skunk toy or any ball. Watching him run and play brings so much joy—he has a special way of brightening a home. This has been a very difficult decision, made out of love and a desire to do what’s best for him. We are also expecting, and won't have the proper time to train a young pup and raise a baby. Panda would do best as the only male dog in a home where he can receive all the time, attention, and affection he deserves. We’re hoping to find a person or family who will love him as much as we do. Please reach out if you think you could be the right home for Panda ❤️

Story
Ringo is a sweet silly high energy dog who needs lots of attention, affection and playtime. He loves kids and has loved with a cat his whole life but has had bad experiences with other dogs so does better in a home without them. He knows basic commands and is House and kennel trained but is a stubborn and active pup so needs a patient and available owner!

Story
Lady has a lot of personality with a capital P! She loves playing with toys, other dogs, and especially loves people - she wants to be pet by any person she meets! She is 13 years old, but has the energy of a dog half her age. She would do well in most new homes, she is a lover, and very adaptable. She is talkative, but doesn't just bark because she's bored - she will make little noises to you when she wants something. She is a very sweet natured girl, and a wonderful compainion.

Story
Leo (Lou) is my support pet. He is my little snuggle bug. I am disabled, and I am having some difficulty taking care of him in all the ways he needs more than just love. He wants to go on walks, and run in the dog park, he loves playing “yellow square” in the living room. He knows his toys by name. He is so special to me…but I have had one fall in the past 6 months, I am having some sight issues, and I know that he isn’t happy about my sons cat, that was a kitten who is now not. Lou, or Leo, he goes by either, well he is spoiled. He loves attention and belly rubs. And I want to add, with the current financial situation, I am unable to groom him every three months and stay current with his new vaccine updates. I can’t stress this enough. Lou has been there for me, five years in August, but I think he deserves you now. ❤️
