Story
Hello, I think I'm on a dating app, my name is Rocko. I'm a single bachelor and looking for a calm, loving home that I can have evening strolls with a special someone. My back story is that I was pulled from a Backyard Puppy mill breeder, they shut them down and put me in the shelter. It's not too bad as I have more room to move around and see people who make sure that I'm fed and loved on. The volunteers think I've got the looks and dreamy eyes for being a senior....they call me "Dapper" I guess that means handsome? I'm looking for my forever person that I can call my own. Please contact Bayard ACO at 575 637-2826

Story
Howdy ya'll, I'd like to introduce myself my name is "Cowboy" and yep if you look at all my good traits you'll see that my name fits. I need to break out of this "shelter situation" I have no idea what the heck happened. I was living a very good life with a gal who loved me and fed me well. Then before I knew it, some humans took her away and she is living in something called "Assisted living"? and then they took me to another place called "Shelter"? I have volunteers that come visit but its not the same as my old house? I'm hoping that some hooman will say hey.....I'd like this "Cowboy" and we can go on some fun adventures together. I'm currently learning some new things to apply to my "resume" apparently the volunteers that are helping me adjust thinks that might help me find my new home. Please contact the ACO-Bayard, NM 575 637-2826 much licks and yee haww-Cowboy

Story
My name is "Tramp" and I'm kinda sorta glad I'm safe, but don't understand how this works. I'm in a shelter as I've been running along the highway for awhile and bunches of people were trying to catch me which I was scared and kept running. The ACO came and was talking nice to me so I walked over and was picked up then put into a truck. I was placed in a "run" which there are other dogs next to me and they are nice and I want to be friends. It was different but I can now sleep and eat without being scared. Volunteers come and make sure that I get exercise and love, they all say that I should not be here to be safe and fed but to be in a home where I can get a whole bunch of love and always feel safe and not scared running away from people chasing me and cars coming toward me real fast. I hope that the volunteers are right and I can find my new safe home. Please contact Bayard ACO at 575 6372826

Story
Good day Hoomans, My name is Savanna, I'm a regal spayed female of 8 years young. My story is that I was living with a Backyard Puppymill Breeder and my job was just to produce puppies and live in a 4 x 6 dog run only. Word got out and they shut them down and I was one of the last dogs to get out. I've been put into a Shelter which is much larger that I was living in and there are volunteers that love me and feed me and I get to exercise....that is so nice to play and run around. I'm hoping that now I can live a nice retirement life with someone that I can go on senior adventures with and show how much love I have. Please contact Bayard ACO at 575 637-2826

Story
Nala is a sweet, loving, energetic dog who is looking for a new home where she can get the time, attention, and activity she deserves. She is approximately 9 months old. Nala is house-trained and kennel-trained, and she is a very smart, food-motivated girl who loves learning and being around her people. She has lots of energy and would do best with someone who enjoys an active dog. Once she gets comfortable with someone, she is incredibly loving and loyal. She does well with other dogs, but unfortunately she has not been able to adjust well to living with our cat. Because of this, I believe she would be happiest in a home without cats where she can be the best version of herself. Nala is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. This is a very difficult decision, and my biggest priority is finding her a loving, responsible home where she will be treated as part of the family and given the time and attention she deserves. I am happy to answer any questions.
