Zoe is very sweet and loves humans. She is a Pyranees mix and is roughly 75 pounds. She is anout 4 years old, is house trained and gets along with other dogs. Unfortunately, my wife just got diagnosed with an auto immune disease and we have to rehome her.

Story

Bear is a loveable Lab/Shar Pee mix who loves water, going on walks, snuggling and playing. He came our home from one of my son's girlfriend when she moved out of her family home. She had found him on the street and tried multiple ways to find his owner w/out success. When her family stated they were going to have him euthanized, I said I would "foster" while she continued to look for another home. A year later, she is no longer my son's girlfriend and is unable to take him as she lives in a small apartment. The vet thinks Bear is about 6 years old. He is partially housebroken but needs a belly band if you want to have him indoors for any period of time. He loves to play with our other two dogs and for the most part will not bother any of the indoor cats - unless they run. I have too many animals at my home currently and need to find a good home for this wonderful boy. I am willing to drive 8 - 10 hours to rehome him to the right family.

Delilah has quickly become one of our longterm dogs simply due to the fact that it took her a while to get past her medical issues and actually be ready for adoption! Delilah came into our care with some pretty inflamed cherry eyes as you can see in the first 2 photos. She had one surgery in attempts to repair her eyes and as it is unfortunately common for cherry eye surgeries… it failed the first time. We gave Delilah some time to relax and recoup before giving it another try. Us being better prepared and equipped to give it another go… we are happy to report that Delilah’s second surgery went well and she is officially looking for her forever family!! Delilah is a loving, playful girl! We think she would do best in a home that has a yard and another doggy playmate!! She can be scared of men when first meeting them, but as she gets comfortable over time, she does just fine! We are so excited for Delilah to leave the shelter and start a life of her own! She sure deserves it!! Delilah is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.

Meet Rainie!! This gorgeous girl is about a year and a half old. We believe she is a Black Lab/ Pit mix. She currently weighs about 55 pounds and is done growing. Rainie is a fun, loving, active girl!! She enjoys going on walks with our volunteers and playing in our play yards! Rainie is the type of pup that does enjoy her playtime and exercise, but she is also more than happy to cuddle up on the couch and relax with her person! Our shelter is a bit busy and overstimulating for her. She would thrive best in a home that only had maybe 1-2 other dogs. We aren’t sure what she thinks about cats. Rainie is really such a smart girl, we know she is going to make someone very happy!! Rainie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.
