Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Olive came into a shelter down south pregnant and heartworm positive. She was fostered until her babies were born and weaned. Her babies were then transported to a rescue. For whatever reason, Olive didn't get to go with her babies and was taken back to the shelter where she wound up on the EU list. Chewy’s Hope fostered her, and she is a senior girl ready for a quiet retirement. She would do best as an only and with older kids. But whoever adopts her will have a great companion and lovely girl.

Story
Introducing Chip! Chip is 15lbs of full happiness. Chip is definitely an inside boy, but he enjoys watching squirrels outside, chasing the ball and playing fetch, chewing on his toys and playing with other dogs. He is dog friendly, people friendly and kid friendly with proper introductions. Chip would need a parent who works from home or is retired as he suffers anxiety. His foster parents take him to work with them each day. He is a little over 18 months old, so he still has a puppy playful nature, but he also enjoys his nap times and puts himself in bed around 8pm every night and sleeps all night. He will even cover himself up if he is cold. If you enjoy cuddling, he does too! If you hold him long enough, he will fall asleep in your arms. Chip is house trained but still needs to be taken outside regularly, as he is learning to alert that he needs to potty. He knows sit and is working on stay. And his most unique feature is his tail wags in circles when he is really happy! Chip loves car rides and will be your companion on any excursion you want to take. He does well at outside dining areas. Chip would do best with someone that can work from home or take him with them, as he is still learning that his human will return. Everyone that meets him falls in love with this precious boy. Chip is neutered and ready for his very own family. Chip is a distemper survivor and did present with mild seizures shortly after coming to Chewy's Hope. He is on one medication (Keppra) and some holistic supplements. He has not had any more seizures after being put on medication and vet says there's a chance he may not always have to be on Keppra.

Story
AVAILABLE MID APRIL '23 after spay. Hi! My name is Sunny, although, they call me Perfect sometimes. I was found abandoned in a creek bed. Someone apparently didn't know I was perfect because I had some issues due to poor nutrition. Chewy's Hope took one look at me and said "we can fix that with good nutrition!" That's just what they did! I am all healthy now and can run and play with the other dogs. I am about 4 months old, and my foster mom says that I am so sweet! I like to be cuddled like a baby. I like to play with other dogs, and I also like those little humans. They are pretty fun to play with. In a few weeks, I will be taking the "no puppy pledge" and then I will be available for adoption. If you're looking for someone to cuddle and give you kisses, I'm your girl!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Pippa is an Australian shepherd/lab mix. She is approximately eight years old, but she has the energy of 5 or 6. She is a people dog; she is happy to be outdoors with you and loves a ride in the car, but she would rather be inside with you than outside without you. Pippa is great with cats and would be ideal for her to be a companion dog to a person or people who are retired or work from home. She is just as sweet and loving as she looks! She is in great health and has a lot of love to give to the right home.

Story
Hello! My name is Moose. I love being outdoors, playing fetch, and protecting my family. I grew up with my dog mom, who loves me very much. This year, I have gone through a lot of changes. My dog mom has to relocate for a job opportunity, and cannot take me with her. I will miss her very much. I do well with kids, even infants! My dog girlfriend's mom had a baby last year and I got the chance to spend a lot of time with him. I do well with other dogs after I get to know them. Preferably girl dogs, for some reason. I have a lot of energy, and because of that I like ample time outside. I'd love to be with a family that has a good amount of backyard space so I can soak up the sun and play. I require a lot of attention and I love cuddling and loving on my family. Sometimes I might greet you by placing my paws on your chest or shoulders, so I am sorry in advance if that might disturb you. I can certainly work on that. :)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Perla (Pearl) is a 4 year old spayed German Shepherd mix pyrenees. She was born in the beginning of March 2019. She is a very sweet and smart dog that needs more attention than we can give her at the moment. She loves to explore and knows how to relax. She is good with kids (toddlers 3yrs and up), other dogs and cats (curious about them but doesn't bother them). She has also been around sheep and doesn't bother them. If you have any questions or would like to meet this sweet girl let me know. Please keep in mind that a kennel can help transition a newly adopted pet as it helps them feel like it's their safe space.
