Story
We got Delilah from the Martin Street shelter when she was 9 months old in 2021. We intended to grow old together but I have developed 4 autoimmune disorders & her dander is upsetting one of the disorders and keeping me sick. Her strength and how hard she pulls on the leash are not a big deal for normal people but I cannot walk her due to the risk of dislocation of my body due to another of my auto immune disorders. She is sweet, cuddly, super loyal, super friendly, and super hyper. She loves to go on walks and makes zoomies in the house. She needs a family who can be patient with her and give her lots of love and attention! We were told that she was a 2 time shelter return and that she doesn't play well with other dogs. We have never tried to socialize her with other animals. She does appear to run after cats, chickens, ducks, & squirrels. It would be best if she was in a one dog home. She does seem to do well with other people and children but she does jump up and takes time to calm.
