Story
I adopted Filo in March 2025. There was just something about him that drew me to him. I live alone with him and he has become very protective of me. My family is moving to the Azle area at the beginning of Nov. to live with me, and I feel it would be best to rehome him since he has been overly protective of me when they are around. They do not feel safe around him and I have two young grandsons that I have to put first. I believe he would be a good dog for a family of one, or a family that can give him more time than I can. He is 4 to 5 years old.

Story
We found Otis abandoned and starving not far from where I worked back in July. At the time he was around 60 lbs, we were able to get him tested and treated at the vet for intestinal parasites and had some ticks removed. Started feeding him Hills Science Diet for young large breed dogs and got his weight up by 20lbs by the next visit to the vet. I have attached pictures of his genetic test, he tested negative for heart worms and is now parasite free. We have also had him chipped since we were planning on keeping him. Unfortunately, the other dog that we rescued several years earlier does not and will not get along with him. I don’t think that Otis wouldn’t get along with other dogs as he is very playful and energetic, its just that our other dog doesn’t even like to be in the same room with him without barking or growling. After months of trying to get them acclimated to each other we have decided that it would be better for Otis if he had another home where he could live his best puppy
