Story
Luna and Coco are both Dogo Argentino’s. Both are female, spayed and have had all shots. Luna is a large dog with slightly floppy ears. She is huggable and enjoys snuggling with you. She is very energetic and is cute especially when sleeping. Coco loves to play and has a very gentle nature. She enjoys hugs and massages as well as chew toys. Coco was acquired in March from the pound. Coco is slightly deaf but has no problem in understanding hand gestures also. Reason for surrender is my wife is a Dialysis patient and soon we will have to relocate to Arizona for treatment. Also, our third dog is the long-term resident dog in our home and does not like having any other dog around. She does not get along with Coco or Luna and unfortunately for them she has been with us for years. Therefore, we must find them a new forever home.

Story
Stanley is a 1-year-old Argentinian Dogo who’s equal parts cuddle-bug and high-energy goofball. Found as a stray and understandably nervous when he first arrived at the shelter, Stanley has blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and fiercely loyal companion — once he gets to know you. He may be shy at first, but don’t let that fool you. Give him a little time, a lot of patience, and a handful of treats, and you’ll soon have a shadow who just wants to play, learn, and smother you with kisses. Stanley is incredibly smart and picks up new things quickly, but he’ll need dedicated training and consistency to help him continue to build confidence and thrive. Stanley is a healthy, athletic boy who loves to zoom around the yard, chase toys, and then promptly curl up in your lap like he weighs 10 pounds (he definitely doesn’t). He’s a classic gentle giant who doesn’t quite realize his size and has fully committed to the “big dog, little lap” lifestyle. He does experience separation anxiety and truly bonds with his humans, so he’s looking for a home where someone is around more often than not. He’d do best with experienced dog owners familiar with the needs of large, powerful breeds like the Dogo Argentino — especially ones who can offer him structure, lots of exercise, and even more love. Stanley is ready for a second chance and a forever family that will help him feel safe, seen, and celebrated every day. If you’ve got the time, heart, and space for a big dog who gives even bigger hugs, Stanley might just be your perfect match.

Story
Stroller king coming through! Opus is ready to turn heads with you as he takes on the world from his chariot. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, a brewery patio hang, or a walk (on wheels) around the neighborhood, Opus just loves to be invited. And he creates a fan club no matter where he goes. When he’s not winning friends and influencing people on his many adventures, Opus is a dog of simple pleasures at home. He loves to snuggle with his foster family, join in on kitchen dance parties, and sunbathe. He lives with other large dogs who he loves to play and rest with, and he has even paid it forward by being a big brother to many little foster puppies throughout his time in our program. About that stroller: Opus had a rough start to his life and sustained some injuries that have reduced his mobility. He’s able to get around the house, but will need your help with a few daily activities. And Opus does have some preferences about architectural design—due to his mobility, he would prefer a home with minimal stairs and a yard for his lounging pleasures. If life alongside one of the most charming and resilient dogs in town sounds like your style, Opus would love to meet you.

Story
Our sister in law rescued Oliver about 5 years ago and we inherited him through her. He is a good boy, we are just unable to give him the attention he deserves. We also have a cat and an old small dog, it took him about a week to get used to the small dog but since then they have been good around each other, he was always good with the cat. We also have 2 small children and work full time, we just don’t have the time or energy to give him the big dog attention/energy that he deserves. We hope that h can go to a family that will be able to give him that. He is a good protector, we feel safe with him in the house knowing he is on guard. It’s hard to let him go, but he deserves a better life than we can give him.
