Carson, the just shy of 2 year old, white Argentinian Dogo and Pit Mix with a heart as vast as his love for everyone. Deaf but undeterred, Carson embraces cats, dogs, big and small people with equal affection. Rescued from a dire fate on a euthanasia list, he's a graduate of Goldstar Academy, exhibiting perfect behavior. This completely healthy, neutered male is not just a remarkable survivor; he's a funny, silly, and quirky companion, earning his title as the best dog ever. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.

Daisy is super lovable, cuddly, and energetic. I got her about 2 years at a shelter and she immediately fit into my home. She is really in tune with emotions so if you’re having a bad day she’ll come and try to make you feel better. She also gets really jealous, so if someone else (another dog) is getting attention she’ll come and be the center of attention. She’s really good at telling you what she needs; to go outside or wants some food and water. She really is such a good friend. She’s good with children over 4, but unfortunately because she is high energy and gets jealous she does not do well with babies. (Which is why I cannot keep her). I just want her to go to someone who will continue to love her.
