Story
Hustle is the kind of boy who wakes up every day ready to make the most of every moment. With his friendly personality, bright mind, and boundless energy, he brings excitement and laughter wherever he goes. This smart Boxer mix loves having a job to do and enjoys activities that keep both his body and mind engaged. Puzzle toys, games of fetch, and learning new commands are all right up his alley. He is eager to please and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement, especially when treats are involved. In fact, if Hustle could write his own list of favorite things, tasty snacks would certainly be near the top. A crunchy biscuit or a special training treat can turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary one in his eyes. One of Hustle`s charming quirks is his remarkable ability to hear a treat bag open from what seems like miles away. The moment he suspects a snack is nearby, his ears perk up, his eyes light up, and his excitement becomes impossible to miss.Could Hustle be the cheerful adventure partner you have been searching for?

Story
Meet Sasha, who we like to call horizontally `gifted`. She’s got a soft, squishy charm that makes her look like she was designed purely for maximum cuddle efficiency. She is proudly powered by snacks, naps, and unconditional love—and honestly, she’s thriving. Her personality? 10/10 sweetheart. Sasha is full of love to give and will happily share it with anyone willing to offer pets, attention, or even just eye contact. She believes all humans are her best friends and it is her personal mission to make sure you never sit alone again. She’s gentle, affectionate, and has mastered the art of the soulful “please adore me” stare. Walks? Sure. Playtime? Occasionally. But her real passion is emotional support couch potato duty and reminding you that snacks should absolutely be shared. If you’re looking for a dog with a big heart, a bigger personality, and a physique that says “I have never skipped a meal and I regret nothing,” Sasha is your girl. She’s ready to love you fiercely… and maybe supervise your snack intake.

Story
Rhea might be in her golden years, but don’t tell her that—she’s too busy living life like a much younger pup. This sweet senior gal is all about walks, playtime, and tennis balls (preferably as many as you’ll let her hoard at once). In fact, she’s so independent, she’ll even carry her own leash—because why wait for humans to catch up?She’s fantastic with other dogs and still loves a good romp around the yard or a friendly play session. Whether it’s a senior snuggle buddy or a younger goofball, Rhea’s happy to make friends. She’s also gentle and loving with people of all ages, including kiddos, making her a wonderful fit for a family home.Despite her playful streak, Rhea is also content to curl up and relax once the fun is over. She’s already house- and crate-trained, so she’s as easygoing as she is lovable.Looking for a loyal companion who brings equal parts joy, maturity, and tennis ball obsession? Rhea is ready to walk herself right into her forever home.

Story
Hi, I’m Storm! I’m a 1-year-old Boxer mix with the classic Boxer personality—fun-loving, energetic, and always ready for a good time. I’m a rambunctious, playful guy who absolutely loves meeting new people and making new friends.I walk on a leash and already know how to sit, though sometimes my excitement gets the best of me and I need a little reminder about my manners. I’m still young and eager to learn, and with a bit of guidance I’ll be an amazing companion.I get along well with most other dogs, but I’m not a good match for homes with small dogs or cats because my prey drive can kick in. What I really love most is being around my people—I’m a big fan of jumping up for hugs and giving plenty of slobbery kisses! If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and goofy best friend who will keep life exciting, I might be the perfect pup for you!

Story
**Meet Dana** 🐾 - **5-star houseguest**: Crate trained? Check. House trained? Double check. She believes in keeping all business *outside* and all naps *inside*. - **Road trip royalty**: Dana treats every car ride like a first-class spa day. She’ll snuggle into her bed, snooze like a champion, or quietly people-watch out the window. No backseat driving, no dramatic gasps at squirrels. Just vibes. - **Goofy with a side of Boxer**: When Dana gets excited, the Boxer paws fly. It’s jazz hands meet “OMG BEST DAY EVER” and it’s impossible not to laugh. - **Honor roll student**: Basic commands? Please. Dana’s acing *sit, down, leave it, drop it, shake, high five,* AND *settle*. She’s basically working on her PhD in Good Girl. **Dating Profile **: I’m on the hunt for my perfect co-pilot. Another doggy sidekick to ride shotgun on adventures, hype me up when I get the zoomies, and remind me that mailmen probably aren’t villains. Think Thelma & Louise, but with more tail wags and stolen socks. ** Ideal home vibes: • Weekends: Exploring the world one sniff at a time, hiking trails, beach days, and “accidentally” ending up in the drive-thru line. • Weeknights: Olympic-level snuggling on the couch with my human + furr sibling. Blanket fort required. If you’ve got a spare spot on the couch, a sense of adventure, and love to snuggle, apply to adopt this 8 month old love bug at www.herorescue.org and let the adventures — and naps — begin 💛 Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
