Story
Jackson is a handsome 7-year-old boy and weighs 80-ish lbs. Because he is a larger love bug who doesn't know his size, he would do best in a home with teenage children. Although Jackson is deaf, he is VERY trainable and has responded well to learning hand signals with his foster mom. He has laser focus whenever his toys or treats are involved. He is very snuggly-and likes to think he's a lap dog, despite his size! Jackson is potty trained, neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that all of your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter, and are a foster-home based organization. Other than meeting our babies at events, we do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a homecheck prior to adoption.

Story
Hi, I’m Chuck, a 3-year-old Boxer/Hound mix with a heart full of love and a little bit of shyness. When we first meet, I may be a bit hesitant, but that won’t stop me from coming over to rest my head in your lap and soak up some pets! I can be cautious around new things, but with a patient, loving human to reassure me, and a quiet environment, my curious side starts to shine. I’m the true definition of a cuddle bug and will always be ready for a cozy snuggle session. If you`re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, I’m the one for you! Currently, I am available for adoption. If you are interested in meeting with me, please fill out an application or call the Humane Society of Forsyth County at 770-887-6480. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 and Friday and Saturday 1-5. All my love and endless tail wags, Chuck /(^.^)\",AVAILABLE"

But don't be fooled by his chill nature, he still enjoys playtime when the mood strikes! Herbie is great with kids and his gentle and affectionate personality makes him a great fit for a family looking for a loyal companion. Herbie weighs 44lbs, and is approximately 2 years old (est. birthday 12/21/2022) and his adoption fee is $315. Story
What's not to love about me? I'm a cute, petite, super snuggler and I heard a guy named Rick wrote a song about me!!! I'm Jessie Girl. They say I'm a boxer mix, but I'm not even 40 pounds. Fommy thinks I might have some Boston terrier in me, which would explain a few things. I love the other dogs in my foster home, but I would not be good on a farm. Little critters trigger my "chase" drive, so please do not bring cats or rabbits.   I'm a super snuggler who loves to be under the covers - and that's any covers; I'm not picky, but I especially love to be under yours so I can be all warm and cozy. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, but I don't walk nicely on a leash. However, with lots of patience and training, you can teach me. You see, I'm pretty unruly on walks and even scream when overexcited, so teaching me how to redirect and refocus would be our number one priority. But a home with a nice, secure, tall fence will be great. That way, I won't get the leash crazies. I'm just a simple family girl out here looking for her forever life. If that might be you, let's meet to see!       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.   http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.   Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Please ensure you understand those restrictions prior to choosing a dog. We verify rental policies and adhere to any restrictions.           January 15, 2025, 8:10 pm

Story
So many famous Admirals in history, but first and foremost is me - I'm a famous Admiral! Meet Admiral, a neutered 11-year-old (12/13/2013) super energetic Boxer/Mountain Cur mix. He is lean and athletic and loves running and could probably command a naval fleet if needed.  Admiral will make the perfect companion for an active family.    Admiral is house and crate-trained and comes with a special escape-proof crate.  As a famous Admiral, he does need a fenced yard to run off his excess energy.  And a dog companion who likes to play and is around Admiral's size makes it easy to help this energetic guy settle down Admiral loves other dogs, playing, wrestling, chasing, and being chased. This handsome senior guy is ready for his own home where he gets lots of attention, play, and just being active! Just look at that goofy smile. Apply to adopt Admiral at the website shown below:     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found at http://www.angelsrescue.org/pet-forms/dog-adoption-app.asp and can be submitted online. Story
Hi! My name is Norbert, but my foster mom calls me Bert.  I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix (we think), and I'm about 16 weeks old and (right now) I weigh 26 pounds but have some growing to do. I am also great with kids, dogs, and cats! My only less than perfect trait is -I bark when I’m left alone. So no apartments or shared wall townhomes for me.  My foster family says I am a GREAT puppy. They  take  me to baseball and softball games, and I am the best boy—so well-behaved!  I am also playful, very smart, and learning all sorts of commands, like sit, down, and  come. I enjoy my toys and love being outside, but my favorite thing is to cuddle up in your lap. Do you need a buddy to take you to the park, to help you find sticks, cuddle  on  the couch, or lay or play at your feet while you work?  If so, I am your guy and can’t wait to meet you! Story
ROSS ~~ Boxer Mix, Fawn and White, Neutered Male, 68 pounds, Birthdate: 12/27/2021 This boy has never met a stranger and loves everyone! Are you a dog lover looking for that special “ride or die” dog to love? Come meet Ross and see if he checks off all the boxes. Ross is looking for his forever person.... someone who "gets him" and can't live without him. Is that you? He may also do well in a home with other large, friendly and non-aggressive dogs. FAVORITE #1 THING IN THE WORLD: Ross absolutely loses his mind when you play fetch with him. He loves to chase the ball and brings it back to anyone who will play with him! He does very well on the leash and ABSOLUTELY LOVES TO GO FOR WALKS AND ON ADVENTURES. Ross is amazing and would love to find a forever home and some people to love. FUN FACTS: Ross is intelligent, playful, and curious about his surroundings. He enjoys learning new things and would do best with an active couple, single person or family with older kids. He may not be the best candidate with small kids ~~ he may jump up on them in excitement. However, with a little practice and training, he could learn not to do this. ENERGY LEVEL: Ross is an energetic, fun-loving, playful and goofy guy who would love a fenced backyard to run around in. Do you have some cool toys, like to go for hikes or go running? Even better! Ross is food/treat motivated and would love to be with you wherever you go! Ross would also be a great boy for movie marathons on the couch after playing some fetch. OTHER PETS: Ross should do well in a home with other large, friendly and non-aggressive dogs. We always suggest a meeting of other dogs prior to adoption to ensure a smooth transition to a new home. Ross WILL NOT do well in a home with cats or small dogs. ADOPTION FEE: $144. His adoption fee includes one month of Simparica Trio (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites). HEALTH/MEDICAL: He's current on vet services, vaccines, is microchipped, neutered, and has a negative heartworm and fecal test. COME MEET ROSS AT Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Closed on all major holidays. Visit at least two hours prior to closing. No appointment is needed.

Story
Introducing Willie B, the canine connoisseur of cool. With an uncanny talent for looking unimpressed, Willie B has perfected the art of nonchalance. But don't let that stoic demeanor fool you, beneath that poker face lies a heart of gold! He has shown to be scared of males, but he warms up after getting to know them. He needs a strong and patient home where we can adjust, learn from other dog(s) in the home, and feel comfortable. He can be walked on a leash but would do best in a home with a fenced in yard, as sometimes he gets scared. FOLLOW @BraveheartBulliezRescue on Tiktok, Instagram, and Facebook!

This little donkey is really a dog. He’s stout and he’s sweet, and he’d be up for a jog. Patient and kind, with a face like a dove. Yes, this little donkey is ready for love. So, open your heart for this smooshable face, for this little donkey needs a new place! Semi is top dog when it comes to cuddles. I really really love my sister Smoochie. I am a big fan of cookies and treats; however, they need to be made without chicken as I am allergic! Give me all the beef! I can be a little scared when there are too many people running around me and would love a home with older people so I can be safe. I love going on walks and can spend hours outside with you doing just that. I am also a little warrior and survived Lymphoma in 2017. Cancer free baby! I’m looking for my perfect furrever home. Is that you?I am currently being fostered with my sister, Smoochie 1404-22. If you would like to meet me, you will have to meet my sister as well as we are a bonded pair. Please call the Animal Shelter at 678-965-7185 or send an email to adoptions@forsythco.com to set up an appointment for a meet and greet.

Hi! My name is Smoochie, and the thing I love most about this world are my tennis balls. I may be 9 years-old, but I am still young at heart. I love to go for walks and play fetch with said tennis balls. I also really really love my brother Semi. I am a big fan of cookies and treats; however, I can be a little scared when there are too many people running around me and would love a home with older people so I can be safe. I am also scared of fireworks and thunder; they are just so loud and scary! I do well with my brother, but I have not really had a chance to meet any other of my fellow furry friends. If you’re looking for a dog that’ll win you gold medal at fetch tournaments, I’m your girl!I am currently being fostered with my brother Semi 1405-22. If you would like to meet me you will have to meet my brother as well as we are a bonded pair. Please call the Animal Shelter at 678-965-7185 or send an email to adoptions@forsythco.com to set up an appointment for a meet and greet.
