Story
I'm a lady as sweet as can bee, hoping to spend my golden years with you! My preference is to be in a comfortably quiet home, where I can lounge about and look out on spring flowers. Although older, I am still an agile lady and will happily climb a cat tree and maybe bat around fun things I find under the couch!   At the end of the day all I need is a cozy home where I can relax by your side, doesn't that sound nice? Story
Zooey here. I recently lost my best friend. We met in 2007 at an adoption event; she (correctly) identified me as the kitten with the most personality, and brought me home with her. It was a match made in Kitty Heaven. I got along fine with her husband and adult children, but we were really meant for each other. We did our own thing during the day - she liked to work in the garden, I liked to nap in the sun - but most evenings I sat in her lap while she pet and combed me. I slept on her bed every night, until she got sick last year. Her kids are caring for me but they all live far away, so I need to find a new home. I’m elderly now - 17! - but am still pretty healthy. I’m not a picky eater, just need some powder and a pill in my food every day. In the interest of transparency, I should mention that I sometimes poop outside of the litter box, especially when stressed out. I’m working on it. I think of myself as a good companion who is also independent. (I mean, I AM a cat.)

Story
MODESTO, CA:  Hi, my name is Freddie!! I’m a happy kitty with a seriously playful attitude!  I was abandoned at a shelter when I was only two weeks old; I’m so grateful that I was rescued and placed into a loving foster home. I am very easy-going, gentle, sweet, and full of affection. While I love to play, my very favorite thing to do is to cuddle up in my foster mom’s lap and “nurse” on a plush blanket. This is oh-so-comforting and soothing to me, kind of like a spa day (haha).  I also love to be gently carried around and enjoy getting pets. I was born in approximately August 2022. I am good with other cats and children but have not been around any dogs. I have never lived outdoors, so I need to be an indoors-only kitty. I’ve been neutered, microchipped, and am up to date on my shots. I’m ready to go to my furever family! This is a Courtesy Post, and Freddie is with the Cat Network of Stanislaus in Modesto, California. For more information, please contact Monica at info@catnetworkofstanislaus.org or 209-735-0604. Story
Jeannie: Sassy, Saucy and a little bit bossy! This 10 year old gem of a girl will keep you on your toes. Like most mature women, she knows what she likes and knows what she doesn’t. Likes: play, making biscuits, rubbing her face on hair brushes, Greenies cat treats and time in the sun. Dislikes: other cats, full body brushing (even though she needs it as a long hair girl), getting petted past the point that she wants to be petted, hands coming at her in play (hands aren’t toys any way 😊). As with most mature women, she is quite vocal and holds great conversations.

Story
Skits and Tom are two peas in a pod. Where one is you’ll be sure to find the other, be it sleeping together in a kitty cuddle puddle, playing together, eating or cuddling with you. They are both very affectionate and if left to their own devices will sleep with you every night. Both are also master biscuit makers and an easy purr.

Story
Luna is a gorgeous, sweet, and affectionate girl. She walks right up to strangers with confidence and starts a conversation immediately. She considers everyone her friend and feels right at home on your lap or rubbing up against your leg. She's a purr machine and loves to be pet and scratched. Luna's a petite girl, about 9 lbs. Loves to eat but doesn’t overdo it. Now treats are a different story! She will gorge herself on those if not stopped. Luna grew up around many cats but prefers the company of her humans. She can be territorial and doesn't get along with the foster home’s resident cats. She has not been around dogs. Luna is comfortable with people of any age. She loves the teenage daughter in her foster home and has been around younger children that are gentle and respectful. Luna is independent and can be alone for several hours, but she would love to have her human with her. She's not clingy but definitely loves a lap (or laptop) to lay on and make biscuits.  Luna is healthy but FIV+ which is a condition that weakens her immune system. Cats with FIV typically live relatively normal, full lives with regular vet checks and care. Luna girl is not super active and is selective about toys she plays with. But once or twice a day, she gets the zoomies and is so funny to watch. This little girl is one of the best cats you’ll ever meet. Everyone she meets falls in love with her. She’s one of a kind. We estimate Luna's birth date to be around January 2022. Kitty Bio #1111SC-Lu.
