Story
We acquired Oreo and Durian from a colleague in 2020, who in turn adopted them from a shelter in New York City. They are two beautiful 8-year-old domestic longhair cats who are brothers. We are very sad to be looking for a new home for them, but we have a lot of upcoming travel prior to an international relocation, which we feel would be unfair to put them through. We also recognize that since having a baby, we cannot give them as much love and affection as we did before. We are looking for a responsible and loving forever home for them. Oreo is shy and gentle, and enjoys cuddling with our baby. Durian is the more adventurous one. They are very well behaved and affectionate.

Needs special attention,
Story
Lulu, like many of our cats, came to us from Stockton Animal Shelter. Her piercing green eyes will take your breath away, and although she is shy and needs some time to warm up, head butts and chin scratches are her fave! Lulu is FIV + and in Foster care right now working on her socialization skills, so reach out to us to make an appointment if you'd like to meet her.

Story
Cleo's gorgeous green eyes have seen some things. She is sweet girl who can be fearful of new people and situations, so you can understand how difficult and stressful she has found life of late. Luckily, her next stop will be a secure and loving home, and an adopter who is willing to take a proactive and patient approach to help alleviate her concerns and help her gain confidence and trust. Cats like Cleo do best in relatively quiet homes or quiet areas of the home, especially at the start.

Story
Yahoo is a beautiful 10 year old black and white long hair cat. He lives with my mother who is in an assisted living facility. Over the past year, my mother has had several falls which has severely impacted her health and mobility. She can no longer bend over or change Yahoo's litter box. She also has very thin skin, and the anti stroke medications she is on cause severe bleeding when Yahoo accidentally scratches her. The health risks of Yahoo no longer allow my mother to take care of him, and therefore he needs a new home ASAP. Yahoo is very sweet. He mostly sleeps, but he likes to play for short periods of time if you are up for it! He is a go with the flow kind of cat: his favorite place is next to you on a bed or couch purring and snuggling happily. If you don't want his fur long, Yahoo is happy to have his fur clipped 2x/year to keep it short and neat. He doesn't shed if you keep his fur trimmed. I used a mobile groomer for him with no issues.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Important: We're a small (but mighty!) volunteer-run organization. To be considered for one of our adoptable animals, you must first submit an   application at stfrancisanimal.org. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, a volunteer will contact you within 72 hours on ly if it's a possible match. Little butterball Griffin stole our hearts when we met him at 5 months old. He and his siblings lived in a trailer with their feline mama. However, their human found housing and was unable to take them along. So, sweet, social Griffin just couldn't wait for anyone and everyone to come visit. The minute you opened the trailer door, there he was, silent meowing on the counter by the door asking for pets. He would walk right up to you and rub up against you the moment you entered. Griffin is a cuddly, courageous and confident cat, which makes him a perfect companion. And, speaking of companions, he'd like to spend the rest of his days with his bestie and brother, Ra. Ra was a bit of a scaredy cat having not grown up around people for most of his life. Thankfully, Griffin mentored him on the "flop-n-snuggle" technique, which they have now both perfected.  When he's not flopped down on top of you (with or without Ra), you'll find playing chase with Ra, batting toys around, and bringing you gifts. (You may nor may not wake up with toys on the bed.) He's a foodie who will silent meow at you for both wet food and treats. And he will drop everything  and come to you when you call him ... because pets aways take priority.  Griffin and Ra have a special bond. They play, groom, and sleep together. They'd love nothing more than to spend the rest of their days together too.    Griffin and Ra are fixed, chipped, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Their adoption fee is $325.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 1, 2023, 3:13 am

Story
Hey there folks- the name's Rusty! I'm a five year old, medium sized, domestic longhaired, neutered male cat. I'm a sweet guy who loves pets and catnip toys. I have a long, luxurious coat that will need routine brushing to keep it nice and tangle free. I am quite the talker, so expect to have long conversations with me about how I'm feeling. I can get overstimulated at times, so I'd prefer to be in an experienced adult-only household, as little kids can be overwhelming for me. I would love to go home to people who will spoil me with treats and toys, not to mention all the love you can give! If you're looking for a nice guy to bring joy into your life- look no further than me! Ask for Rusty ID#A927594.
