Story
Tess is a very pretty cat approx 7 years old. She can be a little shy around new people but is affectionate once she warms up. She is active and likes to play with toys. She has a lot of curiosity about what her foster mom and other cats are doing. Tess comes up to her foster mom for attention and pets. She is a pretty calm, laid back cat but sometimes gets annoyed with the kittens at her foster home. She does ok with the adult cats. Tess would make a great companion for someone who is home most of the day who can shower her with love.

Story
Meet Spotty! This gorgeous and easygoing fluffball absolutely loves her people! She will seek you out and rub against you, purring loudly. If you let her, she’ll curl up and sleep on you, no matter where you are or what position you’re in. As a longhaired kitty, Spotty needs some grooming – not to worry! She loves to be brushed. In fact, she would be happy to groom you while you brush her. :-) Her favorite toys are crinkly toys and fishing pole toys as well as anything with catnip. This cuddler loves people of all ages (including kids as young as 5) and is comfortable around other cats. She also has experience with a dog – she is very tolerant but would prefer a home with no dogs or with a dog who tends to ignore kitties. Though she is currently an indoor/outdoor cat, Spotty loves to be inside; her family believes that she would be happy as an indoor-only cat. Spotty’s only “issue” is what appears to be chronic rhinitis. She often has a runny nose and sneezes. She appears to be comfortable, though occasional secondary bacterial infections may need to be treated. As a testament to her sweetness, Spotty's vet recently noted, during an exam, that they had difficulty evaluating her lungs due to her purring. :-) Spotty is 8 years old and weighs about 11 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. The chronic rhinitis is her only known health issue. She has perfect litter box habits. This sweetie is looking for a new home because her family is unable to take her with them when they move across country. We (FFOCAS) are helping Spotty’s family safely rehome her. Interested? Please reach out via email (ffocas4pets@gmail.com) or through Adoptapet. We’ll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to keep this process as safe as possible for all involved -- especially Spotty!

Story
Meet Nymphadora (aka Dora) — your forever lap companion At 13 years young, Dora is proof that love only gets better with age. This sweet, gentle girl is the definition of a cuddlebug—soft, affectionate, and completely devoted to her people. If you sit down, don’t be surprised if she’s instantly in your lap, purring away like it’s her full-time job.Dora is wonderfully social and truly loves everyone she meets. She isn’t shy, isn’t fearful—just a happy, loving little soul who wants to be wherever her humans are. She’s currently living with a small senior dog and does great, and while she hasn’t been introduced to other cats in her foster home, her easygoing nature suggests she may adjust just fine with a slow introduction.Though she’s a mature lady, Dora still has a little spark—she can hop up onto her cat tree with surprising grace! Most of the time, though, she prefers the finer things in life: sunny windows, cozy spots, and most importantly…your lap.She has adorable little quirks, like her tiny squeaky meow that will absolutely melt your heart. And while she’s had most of her teeth removed, it doesn’t slow her down at all—she happily enjoys her meals (especially her beloved Fancy Feast!) and has perfect litter box manners.Dora would thrive in a home where she can soak up lots of attention and companionship. She’s not looking for adventure—she’s looking for love, comfort, and someone to share quiet, cozy moments with.If you’re searching for a devoted, affectionate best friend who will happily spend her days curled up with you, Dora is ready to fill your home (and your heart) with love.
