Story
Ollie and Willow are a bonded pair since kittens. Both are very sweet playful cats. Very curious and love attention. Willow is a little shy at first and Ollie is a big "people person". Ollie only has one eye but doesnt impair his quility of life. They must find a home together. My husband and I are fostering for a friend who had to move over seas. Our own family cat has not been able to adjust to having two new cats in the house. They will come with all their toys, food bowls, cat tree, and automatic litter box.

Story
Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue SWEET SENIOR GIRL Meow! My name is Freya. My estimated date of birth is 12/8/2014. I am a very sweet girl, and am a volunteer favorite. I am one of the first cats to greet you, will sit on your lap, let you pick me up and hold me, and have a loud purr motor. I love my food, especially wet food, relaxing in cat trees, and looking out of sunny windows. I can be vocal at times, and will definitely let you know when I want more attention, or when it's dinnertime. I have hyperthyroidism (an overactive thyroid) and take a small pill twice a day to manage that. I am very good about taking my medicine. You can either crush it in my wet food, but I also tolerate the staff using a pill pusher pretty well. I need to be the only pet in my new home; no other kitties or dogs please. Even though I am litter boxed trained, when I am stressed, I sometimes have accidents. I can become stressed from loud noises, super young high energy children, and other animals. I will need my forever home to be a low stress household. I have done well with pheromone therapy with feliway diffusers, and it may be a good idea to continue that in my new home. It also may be good for me to have multiple litter boxes in different areas of my new home to use and choose from. I am at kitty corner, waiting for someone to give me a chance at a forever home.Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!  Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm.  All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info. Female, approx 1 year, DLH Fluffy is new to the rescue and we can't wait to find out more about her. *See more Fluffy cuteness on Instagram @dcfosteringshaw ______________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a CAT: https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adoptable-cats.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats. Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Cat specific vetting: Rabies, FVRCP. Cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, when age appropriate, but not when born to a FELV/FIV negative mother in foster care. Kittens have age-appropriate vetting to date, which includes deworming, microchip, and the first FVRCP vaccine. Kittens born in care to a negative mother will not receive a FIV/FeLV test. An adopter will need to agree to cover costs of spay/neuter when he/she is age-appropriate (usually 16-20 weeks) and will need to continue his/her kitten vaccines (including rabies) as he/she grows older. Kittens under 12 weeks of age must be adopted in pairs or to a home with friendly resident feline. They will not be considered as singles.
