Story
Hi, my name Is Sable. I am a female cat about 8 years old. My owner is moving and I need a new family to love me. I am very self-sufficient.I also enjoy looking out the window. I lay around most of the day, unless I see a bottle cap, then I'm all over the place. I"m happy laying in a lap getting petted or chilling in a box. My owner never has a bad thing to say about me.

Story
Beautiful Nevermore is a total lovebug who wants to be with people and enjoys being petted and held. She's young (about a year) and enjoys toys and exploring her surroundings. She wants to feel part of the family and will follow you from room to room, watching everything that's going on with her round golden eyes. She's gentle when she plays with you and cuddles by your side. She makes a wonderful companion. Nevvie has been around other cats and is interested in but cautious with mine--a good thing, as they are not overly friendly. She probably hasn't been around dogs, and whether she has been with children is unknown. Because she is gentle, she would probably be good with children who treated her kindly. She's healthy, vaccinated, tested for diseases, and spayed. She would do best in a relatively quiet home, as she is easily startled. Her background is unknown. Thank you for considering little Nevvie.

Story
Hababeh is amazingly energetic kitten. She loves attention, she would do anything to get your attention. Most of the times she would sit on my chest while sleeping and starts licking my nose and purring which I find so cute. Sometimes annoying lol. She is absolutely adorable. The other day she glued herself to the fly glue ribbon and we had to shave some of the hair 😔. That’s just to give you an idea of how energetic she is. It pains me to say that I am letting her go. But I am starting a very demanding job and it would be unfair for her to stay with me while I have two other cats. If you want a kitten for the constant love and attention she is the one.

Story
My wife and I took Nova in after she was found at my wife’s work behind a stack of pallets. She took some time to get used to our dog but eventually they got along just fine. While it took me some time to come around, when I did I fell so deeply in love with Nova. She’s so affectionate and cuddly it was hard not to. We recently had to have some in laws move in along with their three cats. When that happened Nova became very anxious and started acting out. Not just going outside of the litter box but on some of our things. After noticing the behavior we’ve since separated them and for a while Nova was ok but the behavior has started again. Our hope is that a new loving environment she will get back to herself again. I’ve looked into to shelters and sanctuaries but this seems like my best option to give something I love so much the best life she could have.

Story
Punkin 23-492 Punkin came to us a stray, from the Danbury Rd area of Red Lion. From what we can tell he is about a year and a half old.  A very nice lady was feeding him and socializing this gorgeous long hair boy on her deck. Her 3 cats were keeping an eye on him through the patio doors.  She knew she could not keep the cat so turned to Heavenly Paws.  It took a while to get this handsome guy to come out and mingle, but now sleeps with the foster family at night.  He loves to butt up against you and even lays in your arms to sleep. He does not allow you to pick him up and when he decides he has had enough petting, will bat his paw at you. He gives love nips when he wants attention.  He is neutered and has his rabies shots. FELV/Fiv negative.  Has the tiniest bit of white on underbelly  He is ready to go to a home that can give him all the love and attention he deserves! December 8, 2023, 1:45 pm

Story
Plea for help from Jonathan: “My friend and I took in several feral cats a while ago. Most are now socialized and many are bonded pairs/families. Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. We are looking for good homes for them.   We are located in Clinton, MD (southern PG County). The best method of reaching us is: zcathouse.md@gmail.com”   Mushmellow [a.k.a. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Scout, on the other hand, likes to make sure he knows where his 'brother' is most of the time.   Disclaimer: AAHA provides complimentary listings for members of the community who wish to rehome their pet, as well as for other shelters/ rescues to assist them in finding Furever homes. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online  Adoption Application very loving cat   THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. "Romeo" qualifies for our Senior to Senior Adoption Program.   Please ask your Case Manager for details about this program. The vet estimates Romeo to be 10 years old, but he is young at heart. He is very playful and such a happy and loving cat! He reaches out his paw for you to pet him. He sometimes uses his teeth to show affection but isn't aggressive about it. It's more like love bites. He has never hissed or scratched. He is just so laid back and sweet! He likes to roll over and show his fluffy belly to you!  He has perfect litter box habits and is neat and tidy with his grooming. He is a perfect gentleman! When Romeo came to us, he was so malnourished and flea infested that he was missing some hair in certain places. He was a pitiful sight but was still so loving and friendly. He is doing very well now and his hair has grown back fully! He eats well too. Don't let the age of this cat fool you. He is young at heart and physically as well. Romeo's foster mom named him Romeo because of how loving he is! She could tell by his purrsonality that he most likely belonged to someone at one time. She could tell that he had been on the streets for a while because of his condition but doesn't think he has ever been mistreated. He would be best as an "Only cat". With his soulful emerald green eyes, large paws, and big heart, does this beautiful lover have a place in your heart? He is available for adoption within 250 miles of his location. Romeo's adoption fee is $150.00. This includes neuter, up-to-date vaccines, microchip, combo test (neg), and a wellness exam. For more information, please contact Rachel at : rranimalz36@gmail.com.
