Story
While Liliana is clearly a bit camera shy (how many of you have wanted to hide when a camera comes out?), she makes up for it in personality. She loves pets and will head butt you if you dare stop (the NERVE!). Now that her shiny salt & pepper coat is almost fully grown back in, Liliana enjoys being brushed, and will even gab at you if she misses you, or if she thinks you missed giving her dinner. At 12 years old, she enjoys watching the world go by from her perch or living the Couch Potato Life with her humans. She can co-exist peacefully with other cats but would do well on her own as well.Sweet senior Liliana has been given a second chance at a healthy, safe life due to the quick involvement of several caring people and organizations. Now, it's time to find Her Person - the one that will make sure that she's safe and loved, forever. Could it be you?My adoption fee is $50.00 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Age:  11 DOB:  04/10/2012 Sex:  Male Spayed/Neutered:  Yes Breed:  DLH Primary Color : Grey  Secondary Color:  White Weight:  approx. 18 lbs Microchip ID:  985112005365386 Medications:  Cosequin, 1 tablet 1x/day mixed with 1/8 can Royal Canon Urinary SO Food:  Free-feed Purina Friskies Farm Favorites Bonded?:  Yes, with his littermate brother, Jay Next date of vaccines: • 4/29/24: Annual wellness exam, Rabies 1 yr  • 9/25/24: FVRCP 3 yr booster&#226&#128&#169 Temperament with other cats/dogs/children:  Best in a home only with his bonded littermate brother, Jay. P.B. has issues with aggression towards strangers (humans & pets). There is no history of biting behavior. He will need a safe space to call his own (shared with Jay) and a patient owner who can give him time to warm up to them. Bio:  Pretty Boy (answers to P.B.) is a complicated soul with much love and cuddles to give to just the right human. He and his littermate brother, Jay, have been together in the same home since they were orphaned as kittens and needed bottle-feeding. P.B. enjoys catnip, laser tag, and any tiny toy that he can hold in his front paws, lay belly-up, and play kick-er-oo with his back paws. Once P.B. has accepted you as his human, he’ll turn into a butterball of cuddles; if he really trusts you, he’ll beg for a good belly rub! In the meantime, he needs a lot of patience, distance, and a safe place to call his own until he can warm up to his new surroundings and humans. *** The original owner can provide some food, a litter box, a cat bed, and toys upon request. &#226&#128&#169 Baltimore City & County Area Rebecca at rebecca.louise.kelly@gmail.com ***Disclaimer*** Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms at the inn to admit every dog that needs a furever home. Story
Submit your application here: www.passportanimalrescue.org/app Like the tasty sandwich they are named after, these two boys go great together. For the first 13 years of their life, PB and Jay lived with one person who raised them as bottle babies. Their world was turned upside down when their living situation became unstable. For the first week in foster care, they let their foster mom know they were not happy. But once they realized they were safe, they became most snuggly lap cats in town. While they are a little older, they are still playful and happy boys. PB and Jay groom each other and find comfort in having the other around. They will need to be adopted together. They will do best in a quiet home, so younger kids are probably a little too much for them. They aren’t super keen on the dog but would have no problem telling a dog who is boss (spoiler alert: it’s them). Whoever gives these boys a change won't be disappointed! All of our adoptable pets have their age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, feline leukemia and fiv test, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip. We have no public facility, but operate with a network of dedicated foster parents and volunteers. To respect the privacy of our foster parents we do require an approved application to visit any of our fostered animals.

Story
Hi everyone! Meet Bailey! Bailey (the darker one), is a spayed female, up to date in shots, and approximately 5 years old. She is very timid and prefers a quiet place to sleep all day. She would do best in a home without dogs or small children (as she is quiet and likes a quieter, slower lifestyle). She does not like to be pet all the time but she does like to be close to you (think curling up on the couch but not on you). We are rehoming due to our infant being highly allergic. We have tried everything and it is not fair to our cats to be confined to a small area of our home.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This long-haired black and brown tuxedo beauty has been around the block a time or two. Ruthie is a middle-aged Karen with high standards and strong opinions. She cuts the deli line with zero regard, despises every species except human, and demands to speak to the manager. She loves people (most of the time) but hates other animals; loves your food but doesn't like what you're serving tonight. She loves to sleep in bed with you and snuggle against your neck. Ruthie is a tidy, quiet, litterbox expert and a perfect roommate.

Needs special attention, House-trained,
Story
Chanel is a proper prom queen. She's got The Look. She's got The Personality. She's got...Diarrhea? Well, sometimes, yeah. Before we talk about her special needs when it comes to "powdering her nose", we want to properly introduce Miss Popularity - Miss Chanel. A social butterfly who loves to play with other kitties and even small dogs, she's like one of those popular girls who is popular because she's SO pretty and SO nice and SO cool and you almost hate her but can't help but to love her because she's just so....PURRFECT. Even Chanel's hobbies help highlight her best features: she stares out the window at birds and squirrels, catching the sun in her perfect blue eyes. When she naps, she curls up with her foster mom with her soft, gorgeous fur and smells like lavender and sunshine (well, we don't know that for sure, but just look at her. that's our guess). She even has a big room all to herself, but honestly, that's the part we're hoping to change. Chanel came to AARF as an extremely tiny kitten and due to a congenital condition that resulted in an inability to pass poo, she underwent a surgery that removed most of her colon. After over two years of healing and care with her foster family, she is finally ready for adoption. Chanel is on a special diet along with B12 and probiotics that help keep the booty-floods at bay. Now and then, there may be a drop of poo, but honestly, a little scat shouldn't dissuade you from adopting this otherwise perfect cat. Chanel has blossomed in her foster home, but spends much of her time in a big, comfy private room - when she would much prefer run of the house with a family of her home. She's labeled "Special Needs", but honestly, her needs are primarily a family that will maintain her diet, and give her the endless love she deserves. If you want to go home with this Prom Queen, contact us to learn more about her!My adoption fee is $150.00 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Plea for help from Jonathan: “My friend and I took in several feral cats a while ago. Most are now socialized and many are bonded pairs/families. Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. We are looking for good homes for them.   We are located in Clinton, MD (southern PG County). The best method of reaching us is: zcathouse.md@gmail.com”   Mushmellow [a.k.a. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Scout, on the other hand, likes to make sure he knows where his 'brother' is most of the time.   Disclaimer: AAHA provides complimentary listings for members of the community who wish to rehome their pet, as well as for other shelters/ rescues to assist them in finding Furever homes.
