This is Moss! He's around 5 months old and is the sweetest kitty I've ever met. He has boy cat energy wanting attention and cuddles as often as possible. Even taking pictures of him was hard because he would nuzzle the phone. As I write this he's grabbing my fingers for pets. He's curious, playful, social, and really adaptable. He's been in my home less than 48 hours and is comfortable with my dog in her kennel, coming by to sniff and and show off. My friend has a neighborhood full of strays and she tried taking in Moss, but realized she didn't have the means to take care of him. So I'm watching him while we find him a new home!

Story

This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period. While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and he will tend to avoid interaction. This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. He is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for him to have a home of his own where he could continue to thrive.

Sweet Edwin is about five years old. This guy was found emaciated and sick in a large group of neglected kitties. Some wonderful rescuers stepped in to save Edwin and the other cats there. What a difference it's made in Edwin's life! He's received veterinary care, including blood work and removing all his teeth. Don't worry, Edwin still enjoys food and eats like a champ! He recently had a spa day where he was pampered like the prince that he is. Edwin was groomed so his luxurious gray fur is so pretty and soft! Edwin is FIV+ but gets along great with other cats. Padme is a 10 year old short haired orange cat from a single family home. She always wants to go outside even though an indoor cat. Unfortunately, she is stealthy and got out, so she now has FIV which is contracted by being bitten by another cat with the virus. It is not spread to humans or just being around other cats, so her sister Leia does not have it. Very friendly with her humans but only tolerates other animals. She is happy to be brushed and will begrudgingly allow you to clip her nails. Not very playful with toys but very interactive - she often comes when called. She loves to snuggle and has a loud purr. Very very big talker. The girl has a lot to say unless stretched out purring on your lap. Owner needs to re-home due to new family allergies. Up to date on shots, spayed and healthy. Approximate Birthdate: 8/1/2014 Adoption Fee: $75 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, FeLV/FIV Combo test, flea prevention and deworming. Toby is such a gorgeous boy. He's about five years old and has been living outside in a colony with other cats. The caretaker would like to find Toby and the other friendly kitties there homes where they will be spoiled family members instead of surviving in the elements, trying to avoid predators every single minute of the day. Toby would be so grateful for a soft, warm place to sleep, good food and clean water on a regular basis, and cuddles with his peeps.
