Story
Shadow is a sweet and loving 9 year old girl! She has the softest fur and loves to purr! She loves cuddles, cat naps, running and playing, looking out the window, and meal time. She is very friendly and adjusted to her foster home very well. She was sadly surrendered to our program when her Mom had to go into a nursing home. She was very loved for her first 9 years and it shows. She is an independent lady who’s happy to do her own thing but also loves to spend time with you. Shadow uses her litter box well and enjoys brushing. Given her long coat her family will need to perform regular brushing to keep this girl happy and healthy. If you are interested in meeting Shadow, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Cat and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. This will get you the fastest response. Shadow's adoption fee is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, and testing for feline leukemia and FIV All cats adopted from The Rescue Project are intended to be indoor only cats.

Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Ariana is the elegant, classy Momma of a beautiful litter of babies. This beauty has done a stellar job raising her babies, and is ready to hang up her Momma hat and be a kitten herself! She already plays with select toys and is a sweetheart. Her personality will come out more and more as time goes on, and she’s ready to live her best life in her furever home.We don’t know if she was around dogs in her prior life, but should be okay with a slow introduction.  She has been calm with kids that have come to visit her babies. She will be happiest with another cat friend in her new home. Come meet her! Ariana was born approximately September 4, 2021, and her adoption fee is $125, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.  July 26, 2024, 12:20 pm

Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Lavender is a lovely, little, extra-fluffy, tabby girl. She is a shy little baby and takes a while to warm up to new people, but once she relaxes, she is a very snuggly little purr box.  She plays with her kitten siblings but likes to watch her foster family from afar. Lavender will do well in a forever home with a patient family and maybe a confident cat sibling, to help draw out her playful personality. This kitty should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions. Lavender was born approximately March 29, 2024, and her adoption fee is $185, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above.
