Story
This is Luna, we took her in as a stray kitten about 8 years ago. She likes attention but not too much; which I feel is typical for most cats. Our Daughter has begun signs of an allergy to cats and we have a grandmother that is deathly allergic to cats. We have run out of options and have to re-home her. She loves window sitting and will gladly enjoy some outside time.

Story
Mandy was rescued along with her sister and both were pregnant. The plan was to let her go back outside after she was through nursing. She became this sweet and sassy cat there was no way she was going back outside. She would do well in a home with older kids or just adults. She is a quiet cat, does not seem to be afraid of crated dogs. She would of course like any cat, need time for adjustment. But once she is settled in, you will have a beautiful and sweet cat. She is fully vetted.

Story
Shay is 8 years old and her birthday is on July 19. She loves to play with other cats, and likes playing with toys, such as toy wands. She gets the zoomies and loves to run around the house and climb on her cat shelves. She loves high places, so having cat shelves would be good, or having a cat tower, but it’s not a necessity. She loves attention and being petted, she will come up to you and rub her face on you or paw at you for attention. She is a bit vocal sometimes, but not always, she either needs food or attention. She will also lay down in your lap or by your side while watching tv.

Story
Piper is 9 years old. From day one she has had high anxiety. She is the classic “scaredy cat”. Loud or sudden noises sends her running. She likes her hidden corners. When she feels safe she loves to snuggle. Lately with my 2 boys (3 year old and 4 month old) her anxiety has worsened. My kids are loud. It was easier to manage Piper with one kiddo but now there’s 2 of them. Her anxiety has gotten so bad that she throws up, peeing/pooping outside the litter box and we can go days without seeing her. It’s so very sad. She needs somewhere without kiddos and family that will let her cuddle with them.

Primrose is a stunning long haired calico who is 2 years old.  She is an amazing momma to her kittens and is now dreaming of her very own forever home.  She lost most of her tail in an accident before she was brought into our rescue and is perfectly fine now.  She is loving and kind and sweet and perfectly litter trained. She is spayed, combo tested, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given a flea treatment.  Her adoption fee is $125.  Apply at maricats.com.June 29, 2024, 11:49 pm
