Story
Yogi is a male 9 week tabby. Yogi was found sitting next to a cup on the ground outside during a severe storm in a restaurant parking lot. He was scooped up and taken in. Yogi was about 4 weeks old but was severely underweight. You could feel every bone. That didn't stop him from purring as loud as a storm and reach up his head to nudge yours as a thank you. After a few days to get him medical well, he was able to be placed with another 4 week kitten Willow. Now bestfriends. Yogi loves adventure. He has no fear. He loves to climb to the top of the cat towers and wait for his best pal to come try to tackle him down. He loves to play with all the other animals (dogs & cats). He loves to snuggle with his best friend but his favorite sleep spot is on top of a mouse kitten house. He will play with just about anything. Yogi is litter trained and fully vetted. Yogi is ready for his furever home along with his best friend Willow. Story
If you look up “snuggle bug” or “lap cat” in the feline dictionary, you will find Artesia, as she is THE definition of a snuggle bug lap cat. Surrendered to a shelter in New Mexico with kittens when her family was moving, she ultimately made the trek to Colorado to an ARR foster home. She immediately got to work making biscuits for her foster mom. Artesia is looking for someone who wants a lap cat, a super engaged and present friend, and someone who doesn’t mind an occasional chatty patty. She would like a home where she can be the only cat, as her foster parents have learned that although she did a great job raising her kittens and loved them, she does not like other cats. She would likely do well in a home with a mellow, cat-friendly dog(s) after slow, thoughtful introductions, and she would also thrive as an only pet, soaking up all the love and attention of her person or family! Although a master lap cat and snuggler, Artesia also loves to play and is looking for someone who will adore her, snuggle with her, and provide enrichment to keep her happy and stress-free. Sometimes it takes Artesia a little while to feel comfortable around new people (and sometimes she loves them right away), but her adopter must be committed to following the recommended acclimation protocol of keeping her in a small space and gradually letting her into larger areas once she is comfortable. Believe it or not, this sweetie pie is even more gorgeous and those eyes even more striking in person!  If Artesia sounds like she might be a good fit for you and you are looking to be adored by this girl that her foster parents calls ridiculously snuggly, please submit an application for her today! She is located in a foster home in Fort Collins. Foster: AS Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home.
