My name is Tiger&#44 and Im a four-year-old boy trying to make sense of a world that changed very suddenly. I came to the shelter after my person passed away&#44 and even though everyone here is kind&#44 Im still confused and overwhelmed by all the noise&#44 new faces&#44 and unfamiliar routines. I tend to hang back when I meet someone new&#44 watching quietly until I feel safe enough to take a small step forward.<br/><br/>But once I warm up&#44 my gentle&#44 affectionate side starts to show. I used to be a loving companion&#44 and that part of me is still very much there-it just needs a little time and patience to come out again. Ive never lived with children&#44 so a calm home would help me feel secure&#44 but I did share my space with another cat before and did just fine.<br/><br/>I have a playful streak too. Give me a string toy or a laser pointer&#44 and Ill happily chase it around. Im also a bit of a goofball when it comes to cozy spots-I love curling up in boxes&#44 and if you leave a drawer open&#44 dont be surprised if you find me tucked inside like its my own private den.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a sweet&#44 sensitive companion who will reward your kindness with quiet affection and quirky charm&#44 Im ready to start that next chapter with someone who understands me.

For a long time&#44 I lived on the streets&#44 doing my best to find food and stay safe. It wasnt easy - especially with my pesky food allergy that made me feel pretty awful sometimes. But those tough days are behind me now&#44 and Im dreaming of something brand new: a warm home&#44 a soft bed&#44 and a person wholl love me for life.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy when we first meet - after all&#44 I had to be cautious out there in the big wide world. But once I realize Im safe&#44 I show my true colors: gentle&#44 affectionate&#44 and so grateful for every bit of love Im given. Story
Willow is a sweet, playful, and affectionate cat who loves to cuddle and be around people. She is great with kids, enjoys playing, and does well with dogs she is comfortable with. Willow is an indoor/outdoor cat with a curious personality and a funny habit of chewing on tape. Willow does have a an issue with urinating outside the litter box. She does this on the baby’s things. She has been evaluated by veterinarians with no medical cause found, and we have tried multiple solutions without success. Because we now have a baby in the home, we are no longer able to safely manage this issue. This has been a very difficult decision, as Willow is otherwise a wonderful cat. We hope to find her a patient, understanding home that can meet her needs and give her the love she deserves.
