For a long time&#44 I lived on the streets&#44 doing my best to find food and stay safe. It wasnt easy - especially with my pesky food allergy that made me feel pretty awful sometimes. But those tough days are behind me now&#44 and Im dreaming of something brand new: a warm home&#44 a soft bed&#44 and a person wholl love me for life.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy when we first meet - after all&#44 I had to be cautious out there in the big wide world. Coal is used to other cats and gets along with them most of the time but sometimes he can be a bully to them by cornering them and getting on top of them. He likes dogs, is used to big dogs and would love a dog that would let him cuddle with it sometimes. He is pretty independent, does not like to be held but will want cuddles sometimes if you are sitting or lying down. He is curious with new places and things and doesn't usually hide when new people come around. He loves to lay in boxes, buckets, bags, laundry baskets or anything else he can get inside and will hideaway in kitchen cabinets if he’s able. He is used to having food available all the time and will only eat when he is hungry so there is no need to portion or limit his food. He is a pretty big cat and weighs about 15 pounds. He has been declawed on the front. It would be great if he could find a home with Roach or Uhaul who are also being rehomed.

Uhaul got her name because she was found hiding inside the fan housing of a Uhaul van when I rented it. She is a sweet girl but doesn’t like a lot of interaction. She will hide when new people are around or when moved to a new place. Her favorite place to hide is under the covers on a bed. If she is hiding you just have to wait and let her come out in her own time. She does love to cuddle if you are sitting on the couch with a blanket. She is very light although not a small cat. She is used to having food available all the time and will not overeat so there is no need to limit her food. She is very vocal at times and loves to lay in bathtubs for some reason. It would be great if she could go to a home with Roach or Coal who are also being rehomed. She is used to other cats but be kind of territorial sometimes. She is used to big dogs and would love to be around one that would let her cuddle with it.
