Story
Hello, my name is Almathea! I am a ~10mo spayed female, domestic medium hair. I came in as a pregnant stray at an emergency animal hospital and a very kind and incredible Veterinary Technician decided she wanted to save me and my soon-to-be babies! (Babies are rehomed). Now that I have nursed all my kittens until they were old enough and my current owner got me back to being a healthy girl, it’s time for me to go to my heart home!! My owner discovered that I am a sweet, cuddly, loving, and unbothered Queen! I am currently living with other cats and a dog and I love them all! I am current on my Rabies vaccine but will need the others. I prefer to be indoors only and love my cat tunnels and toys that make noise/moves! I truly am a huge lover and really only focused on cuddles and snacks :) Thank you so much for reading about me! I am so happy you’re here and I hope to meet you soon!!

Story
This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period.  While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and she will tend to avoid interaction.  This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. She is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for her to have a home of his own where she could continue to thrive.

Story
Hello, this is Mimi. She is nearly four years old and has been a part of our family since I was pregnant with my oldest child. She has been a constant companion through the years and holds a very special place in my heart. However, as my children have grown, it has become clear that Mimi prefers a quiet, calm environment and her own space. Unfortunately, young children don’t always understand personal boundaries, and this has caused some tension. While Mimi has never been aggressive, I worry that the situation may eventually lead to someone getting hurt.Every night, she sleeps beside my head—something she’s done since she was a kitten. She has been my comfort and my friend through so many seasons of life. I love her deeply, which is what makes this decision so incredibly difficult.Mimi does have seasonal allergies, which are manageable but something her new family should be aware of and prepared to support.I am looking for a home where Mimi can thrive in a peaceful environment & be love

Story
I adopted Maeve from KC Pet Project in October 2024. She will be 9 months old on July 2. She’s been a smart, confident girl since day one. She’s an indoor/outdoor cat who loves to chase bugs in the yard. She’s litter box trained but has been going outside consistently to use the bathroom for a month now. She is also an excellent mouser in the house. She currently lives with a large dog and they get along well. I have semi feral cats from the neighborhood who I feed so they often hang out together in the back yard. She plays with one and tolerates the other. They are both males. I am moving out of state in a couple months and won’t have a place secure before the move. I think she would be much better off settling into a new place just once than being hauled all around. If desired, she comes with a cat tree, scratching post, litter box, and litter genie.
