Story
This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period.  While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and she will tend to avoid interaction.  This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. She is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for her to have a home of his own where she could continue to thrive.

Story
Special Needs-Clover is a playful little gal. She loves pouncing. Clover needs a loving home. She came to us on July 27, 2025 as a stray. She was a cute, tiny bundle of tabby/white fur. We had her tested for feline leukemia/FIV and all of her vaccinations were done. We had her spayed a few weeks later. Clover did great with our cat, Abby, who happens to have her own room. Abby is the queen of her castle and doesn't care for other cats, but does well with kittens. Clover and Abby are a match made in heaven. One of our volunteers noticed a swivel and stumble in Clovers walk. We waited until she was a little older to have x-rays done. Multiple radiographs of her back, hips, hind legs and neck were done. Dr. Schrock at Three Trails believes this is a congenital defect or neurologic deficit, causing the ataxia/ wobbly gait. Clover is in no pain and seems to be growing normally otherwise. Dr. Schrock believes Clover will make a great pet for someone, but will have persistent ataxia and weakness. He feels this should not affect Clover's quality of life. Please consider Clover into your heart and home!

Story
This girl was dumped in my neighborhood. I'm a huge cat lover, so I promptly snatched her up (just had to offer treats) and took her home. I couldnt bare the thought of the shelter, knowing they are overflowing and stressful places. She has been the absolute sweetest thing. Unfortunately, I have other cats already and she "bullies" them. She will smack and run after them. She even does it to the dog. I've kept her in a room with a screen door so she and the others can get to know each other, but the vibe just ain't vibing. I took her to Pet Resource Center for a microchip and spay, but I haven't done anything with vaccines. She LOVES to play. I can't say she wouldn't be good with any other animals, but I don't want extra stress here and I've reached my permanent cat quota. I really just want her to go to someone who appreciates the quirkiness of cats and will be patient with this little lady.

Story
A Nebula is where stars in the sky are born. How cool is that? This Nebula is a star in her own right! She's a cosmically sweet but slightly shy girl dumped by her previous adopters because she hid from them for a bit after joining her new home. Stars aren't born in a day, you know? If you give Nebula some peace and a place to settle into your home, you'll be rewarded with a kitty who loves cuddling and being petted. Nebula's a silly girl, too--when she gets head scratches, her back leg lifts up. Besides getting all the love, Nebula likes to watch other stars (of the celebrity sort) on television. Nebula lives with cats and does great. She hasn't been around kids or dogs, but her caretaker will talk with you about how to do a slow introduction. If you're interested in learning more about Nebula, please call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387. She's in the Kansas City metro.
