Story
Almathea was brought into my place of work (emergency animal hospital) and needed an emergency c-section. The couple who found her surrendered her to me so I could get the care she needed. Only one of her kittens survived. I have kept Almathea with me until her kitten was weaned- now Almathea is ready to find her forever home! She gets along with my dog and 6 other cats. She is litter box trained. She loves attention, enjoys playing in the cat tunnels and chasing small balls that make noise. Almathea is named after the unicorn in the movie “The Last Unicorn”, she also is named after the woman who nursed the Greek god Zeus. Almathea is loving, gentle and carefree.

Story
Hello, this is Mimi. She is nearly four years old and has been a part of our family since I was pregnant with my oldest child. She has been a constant companion through the years and holds a very special place in my heart. However, as my children have grown, it has become clear that Mimi prefers a quiet, calm environment and her own space. Unfortunately, young children don’t always understand personal boundaries, and this has caused some tension. While Mimi has never been aggressive, I worry that the situation may eventually lead to someone getting hurt.Every night, she sleeps beside my head—something she’s done since she was a kitten. She has been my comfort and my friend through so many seasons of life. I love her deeply, which is what makes this decision so incredibly difficult.Mimi does have seasonal allergies, which are manageable but something her new family should be aware of and prepared to support.I am looking for a home where Mimi can thrive in a peaceful environment & be love

Story
I adopted Maeve from KC Pet Project in October 2024. She will be 9 months old on July 2. She’s been a smart, confident girl since day one. She’s an indoor/outdoor cat who loves to chase bugs in the yard. She’s litter box trained but has been going outside consistently to use the bathroom for a month now. She is also an excellent mouser in the house. She currently lives with a large dog and they get along well. I have semi feral cats from the neighborhood who I feed so they often hang out together in the back yard. She plays with one and tolerates the other. They are both males. I am moving out of state in a couple months and won’t have a place secure before the move. I think she would be much better off settling into a new place just once than being hauled all around. If desired, she comes with a cat tree, scratching post, litter box, and litter genie.

Story
Abby and Sammy were both adopted at the same time 14 years ago. Since then my friend has adored these cats. She never had any human children or spouse so these 2 were and are her family. They are loved beyond measure and have been indoor cats the entire time. They have never had any accidents in the house either. Abby is super lovable and tends not to be shy. Sammie is little shy and then he comes out and is super loveable as well. Due to health reasons my friend must go into assisted living and can not take her babies with her. Although she is devistated I have assured her I will do my best to find Abby and Sammie a great place to call home. I am an animal lover myslef and would love to help, but I am at my capacity with 4 dogs, 2 cats and a hedgehog. We are not charging any fees for rehoming. Just want a good home. She goes into the facility on the 30th of June so if we can corrdinate pick up near then would be perfect. Thank you for taking the time to consider rehoming Abby and Sam

Story
Kittens were rescued from a neighborhood stray cat. They have been socialized since the age of 5 weeks. They are 8 weeks old and ready for adoption. They are quick to purr. Play with ribbons on sticks. Eats kitten kibbles. Self-trained using the litterbox. Would like for them to go home with one or more of their litter mates. We have two adult cats and never intended on keeping the kittens. We took them in so they would not have a hard life of feral cat living. All black female. Two gray males

Story
Bean was recently adopted by us from a old coworker. His cat had a litter of kittens and we ended up with one. I already have a cat and we were hoping they would get along if we introduced them slowly but my cat is starting to not eat and is incredibly nervous of her so we decided it would be best for someone else to care for her. Bean is sweet and extremely curious. She loves to explore new spaces. She does not take being alone well, she will meow and howl loudly until someone comes and gets her. She also doesn't know that sound that means to stop so you'll have to train her for behavior, she likes to scratch at the couch and carpet but will stop if you approach her. If you have other cats, please make sure they get along with other cats. Adopting fee will go towards the cost of her food and other supplies we bought for her. We only had her for a few days and our pet store didn't have a low entry litter box but you can take the other things we bought for her when you adopt her. :)
