Story
Meet the most distinguished gentlemen in the world, Jeeves! All his years of wisdom have made him into the sweetest guy you'll ever meet! Jeeves loves affection so much that he will follow you around everywhere just to make sure you don't forget that he's ready for petting at anytime. For an older cat, Jeeves gets around just fine but he's not as young as he use to be. Any high places he wants to reach (bed, couch, etc.), he'll need some assistance getting up but has no issues jumping off when he wants. The most iconic part about Jeeves is his meow, which you cant get mixed up with anything else (you have to hear it to believe it). It can get quite loud and is consecutive but shocker... he mainly does it for attention! Everyone has nothing but wonderful things to say about this sweet guy. If you're ready, ask to meet with him today!

Story
Little Koosh Ball, obviously named for the classic toys from the 80's, is a fun loving, outgoing girl ready to come start some shenanigans at home with you! Koosh Ball, unlike her toy counterpart, actually doesn't care for being picked up and squeezed. She prefers to keep her feet on the ground where she can always be ready to pounce and strike at whatever threat (aka your fingers or toes) is causing trouble! She's an adventurous, adorable little gal with such a fun and outgoing spirit!

Story
Get ready to fall in love! Gummy Worm is a sweet, friendly, and energetic kitten. Gummy Worm loves to do kitten things: explore, play, investigate, and has predatory type behaviors, which lets them "practice" skills that they would normally need for survival. Play-motivated biting behavior is common in young active kittens/cats. Providing Gummy Worm with appropriate toys and playtime will help Gummy Worm become the best kitten he can be. Gummy Worm would enjoy living with another cat or kitten that has a similar personality. Gummy Worm is friendly with people of all ages and would specifically do best with school-age kids, teens, and adults. Gummy Worm wants what every kitten deserves: a safe and comfortable home where he can be loved.

Story
Jake was a stray cat who was taken in by my friend Tim about 4 years ago. Tim recently passed away and as much as I would love to keep Jake, I'm allergic to him. I put he's a domestic housecat in the profile because I don't know what he is exactly. He is the friendliest cat you will ever meet! He didn't even need to warm up to my dad or daughter. He will instantly love you! I had him taken to the vet this week and he said "he is as healthy as a cat can get"! I'm willing to pay for an updated vaccine shot if you want one. I was led to believe his last vet visit before this week was in 2018. He rarely gets sick or needs vet attention. I will also provide you with any needs you may require for him. A litter box, scoop, some wet food cans, a small bag of dry food, and a small container of litter!

Story
Barbara is a very loving, healthycat. She is approximately 1 1/2 years old. She loves to cuddle with her human. Unfortunately I need to rehome her due to health reasons but more importantly my older cat is a bully and is constantly fighting with her. Story
Tigger is about a year old, my aunt abandoned him at my house when she moved out I've tried talking to her to get him she said she doesn't want him back. He is a very talkative kitty. He likes other cats, but is skittish with people and dogs. I just want him to find a good home. My cats don't like him to much, and it's unfair to him

Story
Hello, my name is Sake!My story is a long one, and there are certainly some sad moments, but like all good stories there can always be a happy ending. See, I grew up in a house with a big family, and that’s putting it nicely. My 59 other brothers and sisters all lived in one home with our person. Life wasn’t all that bad, we always had free run of the house, there were food and water, but when you put over 50 cats in one home together it gets to be a little crowded. We started to get neglected. As our person got older, it became a lot harder for her to maintain everything that comes along with having so many animals in the home and things started falling to the wayside. Lucky for my siblings and myself, that’s when the kind people at MCAC came in to help get us out of that sticky smelly situation. By the time we arrived at MCAC, we were sick, skinny, smelly, and some of us even matted. We know our person loved us, but we needed more help than our person could provide. I’m a little shy because of the rapid change in my lifestyle. Can you imagine, being taken away from the only family, the only house, the only person I knew. It’s a culture shock. It’s a lot to take in all at once. So yes, I’m stressed out as I adjust to my new surroundings, new routine, new people. Please don’t judge me on my appearance when you see me. I promise once you give me my bubble space and let me decompress properly, I think you’ll find I can be a loving cat. Because of my previous life, I would do best without a dog and children who cannot understand my personality. I would do best with a quiet environment. If you are willing to be patient with me and let me open-up to you on my own time, I promise to be the best kitty you could ever ask for!If you are interested in meeting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm To help speed up the adoption process, it is suggested that you complete the online application found at the link below.https://animalcontrol.macombgov.org/AnimalControl-AdoptionApplicationMy adoption fee is SPONSORED
