Story
Hello, my name is Zed!My story is a long one, and there are certainly some sad moments, but like all good stories there can always be a happy ending. See, I grew up in a house with a big family, and that’s putting it nicely. My 59 other brothers and sisters all lived in one home with our person. Life wasn’t all that bad, we always had free run of the house, there were food and water, but when you put over 50 cats in one home together it gets to be a little crowded. We started to get neglected. As our person got older, it became a lot harder for her to maintain everything that comes along with having so many animals in the home and things started falling to the wayside. Lucky for my siblings and myself, that’s when the kind people at MCAC came in to help get us out of that sticky smelly situation. By the time we arrived at MCAC, we were sick, skinny, smelly, and some of us even matted. We know our person loved us, but we needed more help than our person could provide. I’m a little shy because of the rapid change in my lifestyle. Can you imagine, being taken away from the only family, the only house, the only person I knew. It’s a culture shock. It’s a lot to take in all at once. So yes, I’m stressed out as I adjust to my new surroundings, new routine, new people. Please don’t judge me on my appearance when you see me. I promise once you give me my bubble space and let me decompress properly, I think you’ll find I can be a loving cat. Because of my previous life, I would do best without a dog and children who cannot understand my personality. I would do best with a quiet environment. If you are willing to be patient with me and let me open-up to you on my own time, I promise to be the best kitty you could ever ask for!If you are interested in meeting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, they are open M-F from 10am-4pm To help speed up the adoption process, it is suggested that you complete the online application found at the link below.https://animalcontrol.macombgov.org/AnimalControl-AdoptionApplicationMy adoption fee is SPONSORED

Story
We are here looking to rehome our two cats, Zhongli and Posy. Zhongli is an older male, about 11-12 years old, and Posy is an adult female, about 6 or so. They are super sweet and loving cats. Zhongli is super friendly, and while Posy is a little bit more shy, once she warms up to you, she is a total lap cat. Both are up to date on all their vaccines. We do have to feed Zhongli the Royal Canin Urinary S/O food, since he had a urinary blockage a while ago and that helps keep it from coming back. Other than that, they are in great health. We would like to adopt them as a pair, since they are bonded (as you can see from the photos).
