Story
Hi everyone! My name is Kotto. I am a fun, spunky, sweet and fluffy, orange tabby boy who is 16 weeks old. My best friend is my sister Morty. She's a beautiful torbie kitten. My name is short for Apurikotto, which means apricot in Japanese. I love to play and, when I get tired, I love to nap on your lap after making some biscuits. My sister Mort's name comes from Madagascar because of her beautiful large eyes. She likes to curl up in small spaces, the smallest places. Morty is a little more reserved than I am, but she comes out her shell when she's comfortable. We do well with children and we're fine with being picked up, petted and cuddled. All we need now is a home and someone to love for life. Adopt a pair: $200. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance.

NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
