Story
Peanut turned three years old last month, I acquired this little guy back in early 2020 from a friend. He was born in Louisiana and made the move to Omaha with me and my other cat, Nugget. Since then, the two cats have been at odds, and sadly they cannot coexist peacefully... I have tried to find him a home here but haven't had any luck since most of my friends already have animals. I don't like the idea of taking him to a shelter, and I'm hoping someone can give him a nice place to call home and give him the love and attention he needs. Peanut is an active cat that likes to play, is very talkative, and likes to snuggle at night. From what I've experienced, he'd be better suited in a one-cat household. He has lived indoors, in a small apartment all of his life, but I have taken him outside on the patio where he really seemed to love the fresh air and rolling around! It pains me to have to rehome him, but I know it's the best thing for him, and for Nugget. Thank you!! :)

Story
Meet Juno! She is 5 years old, she was born in May 2018. She is so so sweet and LOVES to snuggle. She really enjoys playing with toys but on her time of course. She likes a good brushing. She’s been so good with my daughter since they were both little. They’ve grown up together. She isn’t very good with dogs. Especially ones bigger than her (we have a rottie) and as far as other cats go im honestly not sure. She has all of her claws, and is okay with them being trimmed at home, I’ve done it since she was a kitten. I hate to have her go but she just doesn’t seem happy in our rowdy house anymore so somewhere more calm would be best. She does have some nerve damage from a fall as a kitten, so she has some sensitivity along her back and hind legs but it’s nothing major for daily meds or anything like that. She needs all the loves and attention she deserves. Fee is only to ensure she gets to a good home.

Story
I rescued Beast as a kitten when his litter was found by my friend. He has a sweet, timid demeanor and is very loyal to his owner. ❤️ My husband and son are allergic, so we are looking to rehome him. We are also looking to find his sister (Beauty) a new home too. It would be awesome if both cats went to the same home 🏡

Story
Here comes Clancy (b 3/03/2023) a Domestic medium hair, who is ready for their second chance! Clancy  is checking out his new foster home and meeting his foster family. We’ll share updates as we learn more about their personality and furever needs! The suggested adoption donation for Clancy is $75, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals.  In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $300,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Alter Agreement:  If the dog or cat you adopt is older than 6 months of age and not spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to alter the pet at Val Verde Animal Hospital in Omaha, at no cost to you.  Or you can alter the pet at your own vet and be reimbursed $80 for dogs, and $50 for cats, of total cost.  If the dog or cat is younger than 6 months of age, adopter will be responsible for the cost of altering the pet at the vet of their choice.  If proof of alter is received by Muddy Paws prior to the pet turning 6 months of age, a reimbursement of $80 for dogs, and $50 for cats, will be sent to you to help cover expenses. All puppies and kittens MUST be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.  All dogs and cats MUST be spayed or neutered no later than one month after adoption is finalized. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases)  during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc. ##1734732##

The senior girl still has a lot of spunk, and would just love to have a forever home that could be her own. Would be best in a quiet home with no other cats.
