Story
Goliath is looking for a foster home to relax in until he is ready for adoption.Reason for Foster: Tense Abdomen Foster Time Frame: 1-2 Weeks(The foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.)Foster Care Plan: Goliath is being monitored for a tense, distended abdomen. His recent radiology results do not indicate any underlying medical cause for this, and it is suspected that it is behavior related. We are hoping to send Goliath to a foster home for a little while to determine if a less stressful environment will help him feel better. He will go to foster with medication and a medical consult will be provided at his pickup appointment. Foster to Adopt: Goliath is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.

Story
Filipelli is a sensitive soul who can be a little shy when you first meet her. She would love a calm and relaxing environment where she can unwind until she is ready for adoption. Reason for Foster: RingwormFoster Time Frame: 2+ Weeks (Foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs.)Foster Care Plan: Filipelli is being treated for ringworm which is a fungal skin infection. This can be contagious, so it is recommended that she be kept in a room away from other pets. Be sure to wash your hands and change clothing after interacting with them. A room without upholstered furniture or carpet is ideal. This kiddo will need regular lime sulfur dips and will go home with an antifungal medication. We will provide a full medical consultation at pickup to ensure you are prepared to take great care of this sweet girl! Story
Mr. Crinkle is a spirited and independent cat currently recovering from a cold and awaiting dental surgery, and he needs a calm foster home to help him heal. He has a sassy streak and prefers a bit of personal space, so he’ll thrive with someone patient who respects his boundaries. Though not a cuddle bug, Mr. Crinkle will quietly appreciate a foster who lets him be himself.Reason for Foster: Awaiting Specialty Surgery - Dental & URI Foster Time Frame: 1.5+ weeks (Dental scheduled on 7/02)(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Mr. Crinkle is just awaiting dental surgery and is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious to other pets, we strongly recommend keeping him in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until he has fully recovered. He will go to his foster home with medication, and once his treatment is complete, he`ll be ready for surgery/adoption. Foster to Adopt: Mr. Crinkle is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
