Sebastian came to us as a very scared little kitten who wasn’t comfortable with people or much of anything in the world except other cats. While in foster care, he has blossomed into a complete lovebug. He is the type of cat who will follow you around for attention and absolutely loves being petted. However, he gets so excited about getting love that he prefers to walk around you while you’re petting him rather than being held. He’s also quite clumsy for a cat, so it’s often up to the person to ensure he doesn’t fall off whatever he’s on! When greeting other cats, Sebastian doesn’t just do the polite sniff and say hello; he runs his whole body against their face, nose to butt, before continuing on with his day. He loves (or attempts to love) every other cat he meets and has even helped some of our less cat-friendly fosters start accepting other cats in their space. Sebastian is very bonded to one of our other fosters, Sepia, so we will only be adopting the two out together. When Sepia was out of the house for a few days, even with plenty of other cats to play with, Sebastian spent the entire time lying in one of her favorite sleep spots. He didn’t even get up for wet food, and he’s usually one of the first ones waiting in line for breakfast and dinner. If he wakes up and isn’t sure where Sepia is, he starts making sad, lost kitten mews. She gets along with other cats but has thus far not allowed much human contact, although she is constantly watching her foster parents and seems to want to be in the same room. She would make a wonderful companion cat for an only cat who needs company. Kaylee is spayed, microchipped, combo tested, vaccinated, and litter trained.
