Story
Hi! I’m Miso, (formally known as Stella) I’m small but mighty. Miso was returned to rescue after over 2 years. I am the foster mom. The very first few days she had to adjust. But, within days she was rubbing up against me and was giving me kisses. She is so loving. Super soft fur. Loves getting pets. It took a couple weeks to get use to the other cats. Miso is very confident cat. She is still trying to adjust to the dogs. (3 different sizes). I’m a super sweet girl that loves to cuddle. Her other family says plays nice with kids of all ages.  She’s ready to find her forever family! Miso does this weird tail vibrating thing when she gets excited. She is now eating wet food twice a day (loves wet food). She was not fed wet food with the previous owners. Dry food is out for eating at leisure. I haven't seen her play with toys. But, she is still adjusting.Does well with the litter box and doesn't seem to have preference of litter. She would be a great addition to your home. She is just so deserving and a loving cat. Story
Available for pre-adoption Squirt is a little entertainer! We have spent lots of time watching her and laughing at the silly things she does. She loves mischief and is always up for exploring. Unless it is nap time! Or dinner! She takes those 2 jobs very seriously. I could see her thriving in a family with young kids to help keep her busy and keep her company. She would do best in a home where either her sister, nugget, could join or another playful kitten who doesn’t mind rough play.  If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $150.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Story
Meet Charlie and Chessa! They went through a lot as babies. They’re doing great now, healthy, playful and curious. They are both skittish initially and when at the rescue awaiting adoption, they’re both terrified and super shy. That is NOT an accurate reflection of their wonderful personalities though. Chessa was adopted once, but was miserable without her brother. She barely ate and was super withdrawn for a few days. For the sake of her health, I took her back. Within an hour of being back with her brother, they were playing, grooming and chasing each other. We then decided it would be best for her and her brother to be adopted as a bonded pair. They both get along with other cats as well, as long as introduced properly and the other cat/cats are accepting. They both LOVE to play! Springs, balls, balled up receipts, and the pole with feathers at the end of a string. Charlie is super lovey with a BIG purr motor. He’s a bit goofy and loves to flop on you. Chessa is a bit more reserved, but will loosen up and enjoys being loved on and talked to. She will talk back. I’m pretty sure she has primary possession of the one brain cell because she has a very intelligent look in her eyes and she’s always watching. Her initial name was Chester, because I was told she’s a boy. They had just assumed she was a he because orange girls are rare. Needless to say, she then became “Chessa”. Both love to be on the bed with me, but Charlie will get under the covers for a cuddle. They just met my dog today and both were curious, but hissed (normal). My dog ignored them, so I’m sure that helped. They adjust well if given time. They’re wonderful and just need someone to give them a chance. You won’t regret it. Each is a good Ying to the others Yang.If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee for the pair is $250.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.Note: We are part of Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue - www.texasrustlers.com

Story
Camila and Cirilo are a bonded pair looking for a chance of a very happy life.Cirilo was an outside community cat. He integrated himself well with other neighborhood cats for meals until he started fighting and chasing them all off a couple of weeks in. He was TNRed (trap, neuter, and released) April 2024, but because he could not keep the peace he was brought inside 24/7 so that others could eat.As he did not initially have access to a catio and extra room, and he had a high food insecurity appetite, he has gained a lot of weight over the span of a year. His appetite has stabilized now, and he is on special kibble. Having a whole house to roam combined with play time should help him slim down. The vet estimated him to be around five years old. Despite his propensity to fight other cats, he is a very calm and chill cat. He is not a cuddle bug yet but is still very sweet. He is not too used to being picked up, but he understands direction and structure very well. Playing with him for around 15 minutes in the morning and evening keeps him very happy.Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.
