Story
Buffy is a sweet black kitty who came to us because her and her brother were very sick when they were only a few weeks old with an upper respiratory infection. We nursed them back to health and now she is looking for her forever home. Buffy is a sweet kitty that loves to cuddle. She is a little scared initially, but once she knows you are safe, she just wants to cuddle and will spend the whole time purring. If you are interested in adoption Buffy please fill out an adoption application at https://www.palnorcal.org/cat-adoption-application/.

Story
Charlotte (and Josie) $100 for pair ________________________________________ Born ~6/23/2008, F, Tabby, Domestic Short Hair ________________________________________ Charlotte and Josie MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Charlotte is a striking grey and white bi-color cat with bright, jade-green eyes. Charlotte has a calm, regal disposition. She's hesitant at first, but once she decides that you're worthy to pet her, she will start to purr and nuzzle into your hand. She especially enjoys being brushed and having her shoulders and back scratched. Charlotte relishes a solid perch during the day to survey her domain and nap; she fastidiously grooms her soft coat, and enjoys a good feather-toy chase. When it's mealtime, she will let you know with a gentle head-butt. She protests being picked up with a squawky meow, but will gladly sit beside you and quietly keep you company all day long. At night, Charlotte happily settles into the same spot next to you in bed with loud content purring. Charlotte, and her companion Josie, were adopted together as kittens, and have always been well cared-for. Unfortunately, their human owner passed away last year. Charlotte's in good health, and has had recent vet visits and a normal senior blood panel. Charlotte and Josie are both front-paw declawed and must be indoor-only cats. Charlotte and Josie would be happiest in a home with relaxed adults who are able to give them lots of attention and plenty of play time. They tend to get stressed around other cats, so they would prefer to be the sole pets in the household and have all of their human's attention. It takes a conscious decision to adopt an older cat (especially a pair of them), but it is also very rewarding. Mature cats have complex and well-developed personalities, and they bond strongly with the people in their lives. We've really enjoyed fostering these two easy-going girls, and know that they will be wonderful companions. Charlotte is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in Sunnyvale. Purebreds Plus Cat rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Josie (& Charlotte) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact John Sullivan at sullivan@enyo.com or 1-408-813-6320. Story
Born ~6/23/2008, F, Tabby, Domestic Short Hair ________________________________________ Josie and Charlotte MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Josie is a sweet tabby cat with large, golden, shining eyes and a white mask on her chin. She is quite agile and if you extend your hand to her pet her, she may decide to dart away or to nuzzle and lick you with gentle kisses. She is always interested in what you are doing, and will chat with you in short trills in response to anything you say or do. Josie can be quite feisty and curious and prefers to chase blueberries or light reflections on the ceiling/walls. She scampers up and down the hallway when she thinks no one is watching. She will nimbly leap on the bed to sleep at your feet at night, but often decides to climb onto your chest if you don't toss and turn much. Once she learns your routine, Josie makes a great alarm clock cat and will wake you up by sniffing your face and often licking your nose! Josie, and her companion Charlotte, were adopted together as kittens, and have always been well cared-for. Unfortunately, their human owner passed away last year. She is in good health, and has had recent vet visits and a senior blood panel. She has a minor thyroid issue that is easily maintainable with minimal medication. Josie is missing many of her teeth and mainly eats soft food. Josie and Charlotte are both front-paw declawed and must be indoor-only cats. Josie and Charlotte would be happiest in a home with relaxed adults who are able to give them lots of attention and plenty of play time. They tend to get stressed around other cats, so they would prefer to be the sole pets in the household and have all of their human's attention. Born ~5/20/2021, F, Tabby and White Domestic Shorthair $350 for the pair ________________________________________ Annie and Andy MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. Here we have Annie and Andy, a brother and sister kitten pair. These two are the last of the young Siamese mom, Brittany's, kittens, siblings of Whitney and Houston. Annie has Brittany's body type - she is short front to back which gives her a very cute little cobby body. Andy has the lankier, long body of his father. Both are variations on the theme of tabby and white. Andy is white mitted with a spotted tabby back, Annie is mostly white with discrete tabby patches including one centered on her raccoon tail. ( so cute ) Both have gold green eyes, pink noses and ear tufts growing on their ear tips. Their coats are thick and soft with compact, dense fur. Annie and Andy are both playful, confident kittens. Annie is just plain cute. Full of mischief, she often takes the lead. Andy is ever so slightly shier but of the four kittens he is the most outrageously loving, so close and cuddly. Both are comedians in their own particular ways. These two are very good-natured, highly socialized kittens. They would be good family cats and probably great companions for gentle, respectful children. I don't know how they are with dogs though they would probably be fine with friendly dogs after a proper introduction. These are healthy, well behaved , easy care kitties. Any family would be lucky to have their entertaining companionship and loving, cuddly natures. Annie and Andy eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect. Annie is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Annie (and Andy) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

She likes sit-next-to-you-cuddles, by finding a spot near you, chirp, and act like a flirt. She has made lots of furry friends. She is friends with lots of our other fosterlings who are adoptable too: Paula, Ross, Thurston, and MaryAnn. Altho no recent experience with dogs. She was found pregnant and abandoned at an apartment complex. She was a wonderfully caring mom, plus helped care for several other litters as well. She is now fully fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, microchipped. She passed her blood tests for FeLV and FIV. We have all her vet paperwork. Comes with NIB playstation, NIB portable pet carrier, and toys. Estimated birth 2/2020

Story
Whiskers is a girl cat in Tabby stripes of light gray silver with white muzzle, paws, bib, and tummy. She was rescued as a kitten from an apartment complex. She is an adult, but very small (8lbs), like a "forever kitten size". She has short thin fur. She is totally calm cool and collected, and loves long lap cuddles. She is very lovable and playful. She likes playtime chasing the string. She is creative with pompoms, shredding them, decorating her scratching post, and making rainbow clown wigs. When cleaning her nails, she snaps her fingers. She makes friends easily with humans. With lots of space, she tolerates other cats. Altho no recent experience with dogs. She is fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, microchipped. She passed her blood tests for FeLV and FIV. We have all her vet paperwork. SPECIAL NEEDS NOTE: She is fine now, but she has “special needs” to prevent re-occurrence of “rodent ulcer” (which is an allergy, not due to a rodent). The vet treated her right upper lip with steroid shot Depo-Medrol which immediately cleared the ulcer. To be on the safe side, we continue preventive maintenance against possible future allergic reactions to wheat, chicken, pests, etc. Which simply means being careful on cat-food ingredients and maintaining a pest-free environment. Comes with NIB playstation, NIB portable pet carrier, and toys. Estimated birth 1/1/2018 https://www.catdandruffclinic.com/rodent-ulcers-in-cats-causes-treatments-prevention-and-tips/

Good with cats,
Story
I found him in a parking lot while I was walking toward my car and suddenly he came to me and performed extremely close to me. At that time he was staring at a white cat in a distance, and I knew that he must be hiding from the white cat. So I decided to take him at first and sent an email to that apartment to tell them to sent a notice to all of their residents. And I did all kinds of posts to find its owner because he seems so close to people and well-home-trained. Unfortunately, no information was available to me yet. Now I wasn’t able to afford the vaccinations for rabies and others he might need. And I won’t be able to adopt it for family reasons and I need to travel aboard a lot. Therefore, I wish to find him a new home and be treated well. He could get along easy with every person who he had met so far. I believe that you won’t get overwhelmed even this is your first time adopting him.

Story
This stunning mother, daughter duo, which are pure bred Abyssinians, are ready to go to their forever home. They have been through a long trek to get where they are today but they are finally ready and anxious to find their forever family. You couldn't ask for a sweeter pair. Elinor, the mom is so affectionate, and she loves her baby so much, they just have to go home together. Elinor will follow you anywhere you go and just wants you to pet her and love her, she is still playful and loves her person, she makes the greatest biscuits and she still does a really good job of keeping Ginger nice and clean. Ginger, the baby is very affectionate and playful and loves to be in your lap and held and cuddled. Elinor came into rescue from a breeder that had to rehome her and her kittens due to a death in their family. So she had a long ride to Sacramento with her kittens and she was very attentive during the whole ordeal. She adjusted very well to her foster home situation . I'm not sure how they will get along with other cats or dogs because they have not been exposed to that but with the right introductions I would think they would be fine. Ginger is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Ginger (and Elinor) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Ellen at garyreason@gmail.com or 916-743-8324. If you are unable to reach Ellen please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
8 year old Max was adopted 4 years ago by his owner at age 4. His foster thought him to be an Ocicat. We have assessed his behavior traits, coat pattern, body type, and other identifying features concluding that Max is a purebred Brown Spotted Bengal. Max is highly intelligent, clever, and very social with humans. He will follow you around, is talkative, has opinions, and will engage in conversation with you. Max loves to lie in sunny places. He especially enjoys the garden window. He is a faithful computer assistant and will help you with keyboard keystrokes too. He's all about being engaged with you ! Max sometimes chews on things he shouldn't, like stuffed animals and blankets, so it is best to keep them away from him. Since his successful urinary surgery 4 years ago, Max has had no reoccurring urinary issues. Max eats a prescribed a urinary diet, and has always been litter box perfect. His last Vet check was June 2023. Max is healthy, a future dental cleaning was recommended. Here is what Max's owner says about him: "Max is an incredibly sweet, social, loyal, playful, snuggly cat who would love your attention and devotion. Max will greet you (and anyone who comes by) at the door, talk to you about his day, fetch crinkly ball toys, bring you your slippers and trot after you everywhere you go in the house. He wants to sit on a chair next to the kitchen counter so he can watch you cook. He would love to snuggle up next to you at night and greet you in the morning with loud purrs. He is incredibly smart and curious, often opening doors and trying to figure out how to overcome any obstacles that get in his way. He has tons of energy and LOVES to play! His affection and loyalty means that he thrives being the only pet in the home, so he can get all the attention you have to give. Max has been an amazing companion, but unfortunately is too aggressive towards our other cat, that is a FIP survivor, which is a huge stressor for us all. He really needs to be in a home where he will be the only pet or he gets quite jealous. I want him to go to a home where he will get all the attention he needs and deserves and will be less stressed." Max will do best as an only cat in a high energy cat experienced home. He would do best with respectful children age 10 or older that will love and play with him, always being mindful that Max stays indoors. Max will bring a lot of joy and devotion to the lucky adopter that loves the Bengal breed! Max is neutered, vaccinated, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. He currently lives with his owner in San Mateo. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Max please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam Hansen at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290 8408.
