Story
Hi there! My name is Paige, and I’m a very adorable black mackerel tabby with a plush, velvety coat. My foster mom says I’m a “big girl,” which just means there’s more of me to love! 💕 I’m on the lookout for a forever family to call my very own. Here are a few of my favorite things: *Soaking up all the pets (I’m a bit of a cuddle hog!) *Chatting with the backyard birdies (they always have the best gossip) *Munching on yummy snacks 🍗 *Romping around with my foster kitty friends! I’m a playful, slightly tomboyish girl (I was the only girl in my litter, after all), and while I might seem a little shy at first, it's just because I come from a tough beginning. My siblings and I were abandoned, so I learned to be cautious—but with a little patience and kindness, my goofy, loving side shines through in no time! I’d do best in a calm home, with people who will give me the time and space I need to truly feel safe and loved. And if there’s already a friendly kitty or two around who loves to play? Even better! I’d thrive with furry friends who can match my playful energy. Once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal, snuggly sidekick. Promise. 💖 My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eat wet and dry food, and am litterbox perfect. They say that’s good! I currently live with my foster family in Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you’re my perfect adopter, please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com. If you are unable to reach Dayna, please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!

Story
Django is a loving, big, three year old boy. He’s a sweetheart but also very anxious. We call him ‘our flamboyant son’ because he likes to announce himself with a very singsong “Meeeeeeeeoooooow” when he comes into the room looking for love. He has a loud purr that starts going the moment you touch him. Unfortunately, we have come to the conclusion that our home is not the proper environment for him. We have people and kids in and out all the time which causes him a tremendous amount of stress. We’ve made a lot of accommodations to try to help his anxiety, but nothing seems to work. The only thing we haven’t tried that the vet recommended is putting him on Prozac. We think he needs a quiet home probably where he’s the only animal. It breaks our heart to have to say goodbye, but we don’t think he’ll ever be truly happy in our rowdy house.

Story
I would love to introduce you to little Bella! A gorgeous classic black tabby with fur that will remind you of silk and picturesque green eyes and although we are unable to confirm her parentage, we see Bengal breed characteristics and think beautiful Bella is a Bengal mix. Coming into rescue, Bella was naturally very scared and shy. It’s a completely new world for her to be loved and cared for but slowly she has recognized that being loved is a good thing! This past month Bella has really started to come out of her shell and not only enjoys affection and attention but demands it! Her communication skills are spot on and enjoys a good conversation with you. Pets and brushing are among the things highest on her loves list and while shes not yet an official lap cat, she does like to be close to you. Bella is FIV+ and although FIV is a lifetime diagnosis, she can easily live a long normal life with a few minor adjustments. Cats with FIV must live indoors and can happily live with other indoor, non-aggressive cats. Regular vaccinations, and treatment for fleas, mites, and worms are also important, so a yearly checkup is crucial to this loving girl. She recently had a checkup with our veterinarian and noted no health concerns. We think Bella would do best in a calm quiet home as either an only cat or with another gentle non-aggressive kittyn. Bella is truly an amazing girl with so much to give to a loving family. Bella is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Bella please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Ellen at garyreason@gmail.com or 916-743-8324. If you are unable to reach Ellen please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Coco is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in Pacifica. Adoption fee applies. Meet Coco, a stunning 3-year-old Bengal/Savannah mix with mesmerizing green eyes and sleek brown fur adorned with bold black spots. This 9-pound beauty is long, lean, and full of personality. Coco is a vocal kitty, known for her enthusiastic "yells" that echo through the house as she chats with her humans. While she's not a lap cat, she's incredibly affectionate in her own unique way, always following her people from room to room and showering them with love on her terms. Coco's favorite pastimes include chasing wand toys, pouncing on realistic toy prey, batting at springs, and going wild for laser pointers. She's also an avid bird-watcher, often perched by the window, captivated by the world outside. Water is another fascination—don't be surprised to find her playfully splashing in a dripping faucet or bowl. Harness-trained, Coco enjoys exploring the yard at her own pace, though she's not a fan of walks, preferring to sniff and investigate her own yard. In her home, Coco loves to claim the foot of the bed for her nightly snooze. She's very social and thrives in a lively environment, getting along well with older children who respect her space. However, she prefers to be the only pet in the household, as dogs and other cats aren't her cup of tea. With her vibrant personality, striking looks, and quirky habits, Coco is a one-of-a-kind companion who brings joy and energy to every day. Coco is spayed, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, and eats dry food. She currently lives with her owner in Pacifica. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
