Story
This little guy is the quintessential orange tabby! Oliver and his littermates came to me with their sweet mama when they were about 4 weeks old. He’s sweet as pie, hilariously clumsy, and incredibly silly. He’s such a funny little weirdo - for example, he likes to crawl up behind me on the sofa and dig himself into my hair. When I go to stop him from licking/chewing/making a nest in my hair, he’ll tumble down the sofa and hop away to tackle one of his littermates. He’s still a bit intimidated by new people if they walk in an immediately grab him, but it doesn’t last long - he’ll just scamper away for a little before coming back out to play. He loves pets and is easily handled, and is happy to fall asleep on your chest when he’s done playing. He’s an affectionate and curious little guy, and he rocks his orange cat energy. Like all very young kittens, he’ll need a cat friend to grow up with! *** All HHAK kittens are spayed/neutered, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.

Story
I rescued this adorable tortie kitten and her 5 siblings when I trapped their feral mama (mom was spayed and returned once the kittens were weaned). I’ve had her since she was only a few days old, so she’s never known a time before human affection. She loves people, and is incredibly outgoing. She craves attention and affection, and will happily snuggle up on your chest or lap when she’s done playing. She is such a lovebug and will run up to you chirping for pets and cuddles. She LOVES to give kisses, and will show you how much she appreciates being pet by periodically licking your fingers and arm. Her toritude comes out a little bit when she meets new cats, but it doesn’t take too long for her to get over it. She’s such a sweetheart! *** All HHAK kittens are spayed/neutered, FVRCP vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.

Story
Silver has been with us for nearly a decade. This pretty girl came in as a kitten and never quite got used to the chaos of an animal rescue, so she never showed very well. She’s a sweet kitty, but a total scaredy cat. When she feels safe and comfortable with you, she becomes very affectionate. It just takes time to see that side of her. She is good friends with Goldie, and would prefer to be adopted into a home with together with her. If you are interested in meeting Silver, please text us at 213-840-0153 for a pre-adoption questionnaire. Once we receive your inquiry, we will do our best to text you back in a timely manner.

Story
Doris is a senior, long-time resident of our rescue. She is, first and foremost, an eater. If there’s wet food around she will find it and take care of it, but she is polite about it. She never fights with any of the other cats over food or anything else. She is quiet and gentle, though she does LOVE to chase a laser. She enjoys sitting next to the space heater and being brushed. She is truly a lovely little cat and would make a wonderful addition to any household, as long as it doesn’t include dogs or very small children. If you are interested in meeting Doris please text us at 213-840-0153 for a pre-adoption questionnaire. Once we receive your inquiry, we will do our best to text you back in a timely manner.

Story
Gus is an old gentlemen of a cat. He’s on the shy side, and likes to sit quietly. He has been at our rescue for MANY years and, although he does alright, we know he would flourish in an environment with less noise and commotion, and someone who can devote more time to giving him attention. He enjoys wet food and a calm atmosphere, and would do best in a home with no small children or dogs. We would love to see him go home with another senior buddy from our rescue, so they can help each other make the transition to a new space. If you are interested in meeting Gus, please text us at 213-840-0153 for a pre-adoption questionnaire. Once we receive your inquiry, we will do our best to text you back in a timely manner.

Story
Wilbur is a long-term resident of our rescue and on the shy side. He avoids confrontation, and will run rather than attack, but he loves being petted and attended to after he knows you. An owner who is willing to work with him slowly, and brush him often (one of his favorite things) will uncover the sweet old guy inside in no time. Wilbur is low-key, and would do best in a home that’s peaceful and quiet. No small children or dogs, please. We would love to see him go home with another senior buddy from our rescue, so they can help each other make the transition to a new space. Story
Lily was adopted from a adoption fiar at Pet Smart in Modesto,CA. She is turning 8 years old in March. We beat her to be in a loving home where she feels comfortable and can be around people. She does not like other pets or toddlers/babies. Older kids who can treat her with love would be ok too. She is all love and just wants to be fed and to cozy up to her human. She can be loud and outspoken specially around meal/snack time. She loves being pet and chasing bugs. She also likes talking to birds and other animals through the window. She is very smart and also understands when her humans are sick or need extra cuddles. She was meant to be an only pet. She can get very nervous around other pets or babies/toddlers.

Story
I first acquired my sweet Mimi "Michi" when I rescued her from a storm drain when she was four weeks old. I am a college student, who lives in a very small apartment and who works three jobs. Regardless, I grew very attached to her and decided to give her a home. Now she is almost two years old and is the light of my life, the sweetest cat I have ever encountered. She is so friendly, she grew up with lots of roommates and is not afraid of people or other cats. She loves to greet strangers at the door and ask random guests for pets. She loves to sit on laps and snuggle, and is very physically affectionate. I am looking to give her a new home because I am moving to an apartment that does not allow pets. It totally breaks my heart to do so because she is so sweet. I also feel like, because of my heavy load, I do not have enough time to give her the attention she needs. Ideally, I am looking for someone who can give her attention and love. That is pretty much it!

Story
Clyde is a male short hair tabby and is energetic, playful, and very nosy. He likes to play and interact with his sister. Bonnie is a medium hair Siamese Female. She is gentle, quiet, and loves to be spoken to in a soft voice. They grew up together since birth and turn 8 years old this August 2024. I have 2 cats i rescued and Bonnie and Clyde were dumped on me by a family member and I (22 year old) cannot financially support them or give all of them the time and effort they deserve. Their personalities are almost opposite so you do get the best of both worlds (if you’d like both but they can be separated, they are NOT bonded) and it would be ideal if there are not other cats in the household. They are litter box trained and love cat trees and toys. I just want them to go to a good home and with someone/people who will care for them and update me on their wellbeing. The Adopter will get all the supplies including Water fountain, electric food dispenser, toys, treats, nail clipper..
